Afternoon everyone Smile

I've just bought a new printer, I'm in two minds now whether to set it up, or leave in the box for a while until I've drained the very expensive ink cartridges in the old printer dry.

I'm afraid the need to use up the old ink is winning at the moment Smile

With the price of branded inks Ruth I would definitely run to the the last droplet. I use third party inks in my epson and never had a problem, but still run them dry...

£15 ASDA today James

Glad you had a win Neil, I'm even more jealous of the weather. The reservoirs which were really low here a few weeks ago are full again, the rain is running down the road outside like a river.

The printer I'm replacing is an HP, it would never take compatible inks and a set of HP ones are £68, which is nearly as much as the new Printer. It was also pretty useless as a printer, most of the time it would take up to 10 minutes to do a page. As a scanner and copier it was fine, it's a shame really because it's only just over 2 years old, it's just that I can't justify that sort of money on ink, the new one takes compatibles. Also new one is Apple Air Print enabled so we can print from the iPhones and iPads without having to mess with unreliable third party apps.
