Yes James, apart from what Dave has just  mentioned, five months of dark miserable weather, and that  event which we're hurtling towards.

Aye!! gone are the days of a colouring book and a pack of crayons. If it doesn't need batteries the kids don't know what to do. SAD!!!

I used to lie on the floor for hours with a roll of old wallpaper, crayons and paint. We knew how to amuse ourselves then.... and I think we are better for it now!! !

Ok, I'm back....I took over the spaghetti with the wine-tomato sauce  extra meaty, the french bread, the green salad, and the chocolate cake over to my sister in-law...I have the fried chicken, JoJo potatoes, fresh veggie tray with dip, chicken enchinlades, pinto bean side dish, and Strawberry Cheesecake and Holloween cupcakes to take to the kids yet.. They went to the "pumpkin Patch" this afternoon with all the little kids. Hubby's waiting to hear what the funeral arrangements will be for his sister...and not much else going on..been cooking ever since I got up...so am sitting down an bit.I already did my one mile daily walking though. Tonight is an going to be an good world series baseball game probably. Talk later on.
