That might be a bit blustery. Glad you got the mattress sorted Peggy, apart from the smell I just find them the most uncomfortable things to sleep on, the pillows are even worse. I felt like I was been eaten in the night by Blu Tac. Edited to ask - Did you take any pictures James ? Edited by: rustyruth at:1st November 2013 20:12 |

I rembember getting lost in Seville trying to find the road back out to Portugal. A kind man in a petrol station drew us a map in the dirt on the rear windscreen of the hire car, a mirror image so we could see it the correct way round from inside the car - it worked a treat. |

I'm actually relaxing tonight...though chuckling over James's comment...it looks like I'm doing Thanksgiving and taking the three grandkids after so mother and dad can got to the black Friday sales at the stores all night long and into the morning. I gave the grandkids my grocery chamge money for this year...just enough to take in an couple of movies over the Holidays. I'ts now raining...hubby got the snow chains tonight.....and things look likewe are ready for the trip up north... my neighbor tells me she has to go to Alaska for two weeks...for her job...she reads cancer therapy treatments after the chemotherapy for the doctors...she has an really bad cold, and before we quit talking her dog went into an light seizure...so she was sitting out on the ground attending to it. It only had two months left supposedly 6 months ago because of its old age. Kind of left me in an light depressed mood for the day though. To many people having problems..I keep waiting for things to lift up from all the hassels in life these days for an bit..So now I'm drinking my tea for the night an looking over Thanksgiving receipes. It will be simple this year...gets more so every year toward that way. I think Turkey...little bit of cornbread/sausage dressing....mashed potatoes/Gravyand this year the sweet potato balls....green bean casserole and green salad of some kind....Dutch.Apple pie. Cranberry sauce and dinner rolls. Easy menu. It's now raining...I guess the "November rains" finally got here...snow in the mountains. |
