Brother in-law ans hubby's next oldest sister are taking their 35 foot fifth wheeler up to Lou;s house,,and parking it out front...their two girlsare car sharing up there, will stay over night and head back afterwards...Lorraine said things kind of fell through for her becauseof Sherry's having to work Monday's...haven't heard from anyone else other then Don's sister's hubby is coming also...Stan. He must going to be flying in from California. Don't know about any of the relatives back east. Hubby says the house is going to be full enough, he says we are staying in an motel someplace. Don' tknow about this thing with the snow though. Find out more on it by Saturday. Tonight I watch "X-factor"...which I've missed now for weeks on end, and take an bath and get prepared for taking my brother's wife to see her doctor on her hip bone replacement operation tomarrow. I went grocery shopping tonight for cat food and essentials. OK..the blueberry and raspberry Scones. I had them with my spice tea also. Nice to see Marjorie here, often think of her....and Richard...he's always good for a quip of the word at times. LOL. Karen...we finally get to see you!!! Anyway..Getting tired and have much to do as of yet. Trying on my brown swede coat today and seeing it fits makes it pay off to keep losing weight. But I needed those "scones and tea" right now. Coat has the Christmas wreath pin on it and the lively scarf around it from last year. I washed my matching slacks earlier to take them along with me...and my boots.. I go for now...have an good evening everyone...day... or whatever in your locale. |

It's bangers and mash for tea here today Edited by: rustyruth at:30th October 2013 17:39 |

My scones are loaded with Raspberries or Blueberries is why I like then so much. It's hard for them to keep them in the store some days....go over much better then do the donuts. I just did my increased 45 mintute walk...they say rain by tonight for the next 6 days. Touting the "November Rains" are here on the weather reports. We are hoping the city will come by and pick up our massive leaves in the street. Riley's said she thought someone told her they were coming by today before it starts raining, which would be an excellent idea. "X-Factor" was an pretty good show last night...sure has toned down music wise since the beginning days. Wasting time right now, waiting to take off to take Dee Dee to her doctor's appointment this morning. I stayed up last night listening to this guy on the Navaho Reservation talk about "Skinwalkers" or spirits that can shape-shift into any form...that are from what he said malevolent entities. I always got an kick about the guy down in Mexico...half his house is an shrine to "God"...in the other half he practices "Voo Doo" to put spells on people to control them for other people at an price. Most Native Americans see the so called element of "balance" in the world between the dark and light forces....and you have to make yourself centered on the good forces you know...their medicine man is raised and taught how to deal with evil and release away from others so they can heal. That was what was going on last night...this guy had killed an "shape shifter" dog that was foaming in the mouth and it entered his spirit as it was dying....about to take over his life ecessence...so the Shaman had to dispell it and let it die for him...until then...he never knew such things existed. I still have not been able to contact "Red Elk" about this Lucifer bit he mentioned....I still do not know if he's even alive either....anyone could technically impersonate him on-line...he has talked about both "Skin Walkers" and "aliens" before on the radio though in the past. People are asking this morning...what's happened to our kids, they are on killing sprees like they have gone crazy these days....but then maybe again...it's simply they haven't been lead to higher more Christian Ideals without the religion rituals and pharmacies/doctors..."Christ" has to be an living spiritual entity from within oneself outward into society...if he's not within to begin with..no church is going to be moral either..but rather an excuse using the name of the Lord to do it's baddies. Does not matter by what name it goes by as an denomination or culture. So keep your sites on the word of God...and in your heart to do good. I best get going for now I guess...time is moving along this morning..have an good day everyone! |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 00:21 on 31st October 2013 I bought hubby two years ago an small snow blower, enough to get an path from the street to the front door and down the walkway...but if no one else does their walkway...everyone is still generally out in the street walking down the tire tracks of the cars that went by.That's when I met the Reverand..an church member had lent him his snow-plow tractor to clean off the church parking lot...he knew the senior citzens on our street had been snowed in for several days.. so he cleaned the street and into their driveways if the car was in the garage. City never came by for the leaves today. Dee Dee started out with X-rays today then had her doctor's appointment....she said there was an remarkable difference between the before and after pictures, she can drive now...but he wants her still using the walker for another week and not bending down lower then 90 degrees. I spray painted her wine rack she had bought previously, but she needs another coat on the top...she's got enough paint to do that with though...then I gave her three bottles of sparkling apple cider and she can buy her own wine...and she says she has some drinking glasses...they slide into the wine rack and hang upside down under the top of it. I just went on an second 30 minute walk from eating cookies today. Baseball game on, so better go and watch it I guess...game 6, they either win it tonight or it's one more game and that's it for this year. We do the Santa Claus ornaments next week when I get back and then we are done with them. My really busy days might be over for an bit. Have an good evening. |

She laughed and said.."Thank you Grandma", but word was grandpa had called her earlier being an Cardinal fan..and if he says anything to me...I'll I will say... "Well, your fault....YOU know you spoil her rotten Grandpa!....and wink*. |
