We've had fish twice this week in an attempt to reduce the stock in the freezer, so tonight it's steak and kidney pie Smile

Busy day, I saw my neighbour with his hand bandaged up he had been to hospital and had a tetanus booster because----- he had been bit by a dog off the lead, it  bit his hand although it was in his jacket pocket. Time for a new ruling about dogs off leads.

Good morning...Richard...your getting smart about the "snickers thing" though my sister in-law loaded up with small sacks of munchies yesterday at the dolloar store to eat...I had an few of them.

I weighted myself..because the day before Holloween I was at with cookies...but surprisingly with the trip and all,..I'm down in weight and should be down better then what I am for having logged 28 miles of walking last month...and primarily an 900 calorie a day diet. That is what they do though at "Curves" to make your metabolism kick in better...if you stop losing on the dieting, they make you switch to an higher calorie value for one week,,,and then back down. You do considerable excerises there on machine daily also. It's raining here today and so dark it requires lights in the house to see very well..so am thinking of going to the health club today for my daily mile. In the meantime am raking leaves off the curb so my street drains are free for the next wave of "wet"...and keeping an eye on the garbage man so I can get the empty containers up by the house where the fence can shield them before I go anywhere.

Thank you Ruth...they have my mug in what you posted, but I can not find one exactly like it..William hooker apparently makes the fruit pattern for anyone...as my cup does not have the band of design around the top rim...plus it has the words .".a beauty of Kent" that I've not seen on any other mug as of yet...apple pattern is the same though. Last night when I looked it says it's the Queen's Royal Gardens standard design of "Hooker Fruit" though. My cup may of made for this "Exclusively Tops" retail or tourist shop perhaps?..rather then being part of the dishware as an whole. It also has been around for quite some time also...though the mug desing is to new an design to me to have any age to it. Thank you for helping me though. I did not know if maybe someone over there had an better leads then I could find on it. I havent' found anything on the metal German box either but filled it  up last night with sugar free coffee hard candies with French vanilla in them, and butterscotch and mints...all sugar-free hard candy. They work dandy in my back pack also...when I don' t feel like making coffee...when I have an tummy ache (mint) or when our Scottish Scout Master is around...Mr.  Richard  (Dick) O'Donald.  I picked up and small stuffed dog yesterday also that requires batteries....came home to see if it worked as it was only $2.99...and it does, he's on an  dish sled with the rope in his mouth and it rocks back an forth like he's going down hill sledding....while he "barks" to the song of "Jingle Bells"...wearing his Santa hat.  Cute. I'm thinking of giving him to either my grand kid's Chiuahua...as he never stops barking or to my brother whose has allergies so bad he can't have an dog in his house...for under his Chrismtas tree and this doggie needs no cleaning up after... or feeding. I am deep resting also since yesterday...I spent an great deal of my time at the funeral and around the relatives putting myself into an mediative state...as was taught so I didn't deal with problems I had no way to change apparently...as me and the "healers" had my sister in-law in their prayer circle form the first trip up there we took earlier. I got the feeling that HER family had decided it was her time maybe...but I said simply did an prayer that what ever was best to be done and she died before the night was over...I think she wanted to go also..She kept saying when her husband was alive he took good care of her...when we were up there. I almost asked..why she felt she wasn't perhaps now...but didn't...and for an while she seemed to be back to her old self while we were there, and I thought she'd recover. She seemed to deny last time I talked to her that she needed "doctoring" at the hospital....and that she was ready to comply and "go home" and not meaning her house either. But anyway...seeing I had not much to do in ove- riding what was going on I simply took the route my cardiologist told me to do...to separate myself from the emotional chaos...and move on "quietly".  But coming back I have an feelingof tiredness...even my sister in-law noticed yesterday...so am resting finally...now that hubby si back to work. WE spend an day of carpet cleaning this weekend for everyone and today I have some painting touch-ups to do for the holidays...so best get at it. Yep..windy and rainy out there today. Ihope not to windy...Pilliapines (sp?) are about to get an head on strike form their latest typhoon carrying 175 MPH winds today. So will leave for now. Have an good day everyone. BTW...I looked out two days ago to see an military helicopter..the kind Prince William operates...hanging over my tall Oak Tree outside...kind of scared me it was so low...and where it went to I have no idea, we again both saw it, but couldn't find it by the time we got our coats on and went outside. Maybe some more of that "cloaking" going on supposedly?

I'm just a bit worried that Shirley might have filled up a very expensive antique German metal box with sweets (candy). At least they're sugar free so they won't rot the box Smile

Not been there James, we go to a small town called Bomlitz in Lower Saxony, we also visit a place called Feldberger Seenlandshaft which is way over in what was East Germany, near the Polish border. Our daughter in laws parents live there, it's very much like the Lake District, very beautiful.

We go again on the 19th, every time we go in November we have snow !!!

I painted the kitchen and cleaned things as I went today..never made it to the health club..and have more painting to do tomarrow, in the meantime....tornado over By Salem, Oregon today...79 MPh winds in the valley area..west side and 55 MPH at Forrest Grove earlier...I was glad to stay out of it and stay here for the day. Though it has my equaliberium kind of feeling an bit wierd today.  Rolled up the area carpet for the steam cleaner this weekend and moved furniture around also. It was one of those work days I'd planned to do an couple of summers ago. The wild storm cell... the last I saw of it was going over Mt. St. Helens earlier tonight.  So time to relax tonight.

Have an good evening everyone.
