Nice day out but lots of restoration work going on in the grounds and gardens. It will be lovely when it's all finished. Hope you got yourself sorted out Peggy |

You make two different starters and add them together..first one is basically scalded milk and cornmeal. There's no yeast in this bread and despite the name, little salt. I'll have to see if I have any receipes in it from my old cookbooks. City was just by cleaning the street finally. My cat took off...don't know where to either....needs to be his little ole self back here. Painted some more this morning...mostly touch up stuff that needed done. Getting ready for the holidays. I'm now sitting in an circle in my living room..not in an rectangle...kind of different by likable in ways. That's what I wanted for the upstairs, and lounge dining area, surrounded by an library sitting room feel to the room...and someday the entire downstairs family room...I think they call them "great rooms" now...one bit rectangle room of living spaceI got an new light dimmer for my ceiling light and hubby tells me that they take regular light bulbs...and are supposed to be phased out soon... what's that mean...by an case of them for the days ahead?. I use the dimmer when I'm more apt to use lighted candles on the table in the evening...an more formal dining experience. Hope all is well in POE these days...everyone recovering from any ailments they might have. Talk to you later...should be an busy weekend for me. I hope my kitty cat comes back soon too! |
