No Andy, not in my home county, I was born in Yorkshire, so nearby but not here.

A range of hot  and cold drinks and refereshments are available in this particular town hall. Northern hospitality Smile

Sorry I had to google it Manchester was given city status in 1853 meaning it was a town when the hall was built 

I think you've got it John because I don't recall any more cities getting a mention

John has it with Manchester Town Hall, it stands in Albert Square, designed by Alfred Waterhouse. Well done John, over to you Smile

That's exactly it John, in the late Romam Republic some soldiers were also paid in salt, which at the time came from the Adriatic.
