Not having much luck so far with this, I've considered both Wolf Rock and Longships lighthouses, both initially from the 18th century, but both still standing.

It was in December 1981 John, I did consider that, but I can't see that the lifeboat was built in the 18th century.

I'm OK thanks Smile

May Day in Padstow, Helston Floral day ?

Could be John, I didn't consider them because of the word 'built' but I suppose you do build a Maypole. Then we have the day/date connection ?

Well I think the 5th March is St. Pirans Day, but as to quizzy, that is going to have to wait until tomorrow as I ain't got a clue at the moment.

Happy St. Pirans Day for tomorrow Vince Smile

It is as well Ruth and John. A structure so often photographed with waves crashing over it but obviously one wave too many this time.

Well done Ruth- over to you.
