I was first seen by the modern eye following a storm in 1850. What am I, where am I ?

Did you become an airstrip or airport during WWII ?

I'm probably way off here but I'll have to start somewhere Smile

I know John Smile

I've only just got here today.

I think Luton Airport was used by the RAF in WWII. I've been there once many years ago.
