When people come to worship they have a choice of two, 1 built in 1078 and the other nearly 500 years later

Rochester Cathedral, don't know when it was built but I recall William gave it to his brother, who's name I can't remember.

Durham Castle has two chapels .The Norman Chapel was built in 1078 and Tunstall's Chapel was built in 1540. Durham Castle had the largest great hall in Britain until Bishop Richard Foxe shortened it.
