Good afternoon everyone. Hope you enjoyed your fish & chip lanch James. It's a nice day here today, still quite windy though, and getting noticeably cooler on an evening.

Good evening everyone. I'm sure the six weeks will pass quickly Pat. You could always get some of your heavier shopping delivered.

Ah ha...no local Senior citzen centers for driving you places?....our local tranisit (bus) company picked up on this, they use smaller van trucks that can haul wheel chairs in the back outside and covered up also. The whole works is "voluntary" people. Now you know why I support the Senior Citizens Centers as well as "Meals on Wheels" if possible.  The first one can get to you to your doctor appt, and the latter one can feed you during power outtages or bad weather..by delivering hot food ( a day's meals) to your porch step..no questions asked. I didn't package those boxes for Judy...I'll stay up late tonight to get that one done, and have lab tests in the morning and Thanksiving stuff to deliver to my daughter in-law tomarrow. I just got done...about $300 for Thanksgiving meals feeding three families per turkey....with them having relatives" pot lucking" some of this together with what they bring.  At least that many I know of so far...i counted six groups all together. One turkey per household, and this is also "Christmas gifts" along with an small spiral ham...to the Host family.  Sounds like my sister -in-law is calling it splits after the Holidays with my brother. She has no idea where she will go or how she's going to live, she still has an year and an half of school classes also...before she can get an job.  She said she'd try to make things nice for his daughter comiing up Thanksgiving and I asked her if she was going to decorate the house for Christmas...she said she didn't know at this time. But anyway, I got the boy's room re-decorated, the blue bulbs on the artifical tree and  the bird cage cleaned up and in front of their window. All looks nice...they can stay  over the Holidays with me..here at my house if they'd like...off and on.. Same for the grand-daughter. Christmas Vacation and all.  Hope to get some time to read my book I started again as well. I better get wrapping those boxes to send out tomarrow sometime also...have an good evening.

Sister in-law says if your doing this now...what about after Thanksgiving...and I told her we had our weekend outting (The Oregon Garden).... but there's also movies to see, and Christmas Light displays, and luncheons and dinners with others maybe...craft sales. It goes pretty quick as it is most the time. I still have an huge livingroom tree to put up and one downstairs also...I told my sister I'd come over to help her decorate also. Then there's my book to read... sitting by the fireplace " crackling"  away and cozy also. I looked up Tingel Castle...which took me to an local Hotel...and it was showing it all at Christmas time...including King Authur's  "Round Table" in one of the rooms....just magnificent and beautiful. I thought what an lovely place that would be to visit over the Holidays' also. Sits up on the hill over the castle.... with commanding views of the ocean. Not to far from Merlin's Cave.

Good morning everyone, we're driving down to the Helford river today to check out where we've booked to stay for a week next June. It will be the summer fishing trip and it's a place we've never been before, which is surprising taking into account the amount of time we spend in Cornwall.
