been called many things in my life but not often 'a great help'.  I have Windows 7 here on both machines and aslo use at work which is a bonus I suppose

It's a bonus to me, I'm like a fish out of water with Windows, one thing I've found out though this evening, I could never go back to it.

Thanks Dave you're a great help. I'm not used to so much clicking Smile it's around 8 years since I used Windows, I've gone rusty Laughing

It's not helping that the left click is sticking, I've to press it really hard to get it to do anything.

I always use a wireless mouse with my laptop, unless it's just a quick flying visit

I don't think there'll be a wireless mouse here Dave, would be a help though because the one on the laptop is terrible. It's taking twice as long to do anything. Ah well.

Dave, I don't want to appear rude to our very good friends who let us stay here, but lets just say that this house is not the tidiest of places, in fact I don't think I've ever been anywhere like this, the room that the desktop is in I've shut the door because I can't look at it. There's no way I could search through everything in there to try and uncover the computer let alone the mouse.

It is Dave, and I'm a bit OCD with tidy, so you can imagine what I was doing for the first couple of days after they left. They love us staying because they know what the house will look like when they get back Smile
