Ruth...what?...no new dishwasher thanks to the "Black Friday" sales, why you could of probably found one for 80 per cent off the normal retail price. I'm glad we did our thing on dishwasher replacement last summer.

Pat, let us know when Bern goes in for surgery.....

 Ok...as of tonight I'm about in the 90 plus range of having it all done for this year.I haven't tweeked things as to being completely finished as of yet, but it's getting there. Cleaning up the dishes from Thanksgiving also now. Had my " Norman Rockwell" Sandwhich today, which I always enjoy. Just did in an Roast Beef dinner..we had an very international dinner this year with the food..not to mention with the calories also. But right now, I'm into to wanting to rest...just as soon as I wrap the tree in two more bouts of garland...it's done. I've been up since an little after 3 am working on it. Neighbors out back of me have thier huge huge 6 foot star up for this year...shines nicely into my kitchen window. People seem to be into the outside lights this year, there for an while, they weren't putting them up as much. I got a bed to make also from the grandson being over yesterday..my male kitty took to it after he left and has been lounging on it most the day...sounds like an good idea...talk later on.  

Congradulations to the Austrailian police...whom just conviscated some 3 tons of drugs coming out of Hamburg, Germany..they say well over worth an Billion dollars and then some..."party drugs"and "Meth" ..must be counting on an good Holiday Season, with our teens and young ones partying maybe...also an man went into the Austin, Texas courthouse and shot up the place with the Mexican consulate holding an meeting there also, no one was hurt..but he gave his life in the pursuit of justice I guess...let's hope they got the message. Reverand Jessee Jackson showed up last night for and 3 hour speech in Portland, after three hours the police broke up the area and ran into people clashing with them over it...arrests were made, but no one hurt..this was over the Micheal Brown death in Ferguson, Mo.  People in Portland are not burning down buildings, they are simply shoving back... if they get shoved. The ducks won in thier "civil war" football game, this is such an popular yearly game that one would think the viewers must be cazed fans of football every year...but it's also one of the most watched games on TV every year here in Oregon. so last night was an night of justice going on around the world I guess. 

Good day..sunny and very cold with an strong east wind. It was trying to snow yesterday and today they are callling for rain/snow this afternoon. I was going to try to finish off the decorations outside, but might make an run to the gorcery store for the fresh foods this week I need...one year they said this and we woke up to piles of snow outside.  I've lost 2 pounds of the 7 pounds I gained from Thanksgiving so far.  No more pies in the house here..that should help some.
