If a lock button does ever break, or fall off, just put a piece of sellotape over the top half of the gap on the side of the card and it will serve the same function, creating the correct connection inside the camera.

I'm seeing I think one to many * behind my password just now looking over my profile information.... At first I couldn't get the login in to work.

Ok, I had word with the winds today...I've read about those guru's and how they can change clouds through focus and meditation...I may have to have them do an number for me,the wind is wreaking my outside Christmas decorations.  I need it tamed down to about no more then 20 mph at the most. Big trees are still falling down all over the place...through houses. over cars, laying across the streets...etc. Blew off tow bulbs on the small porch tree also, broke them, asI didn't have enough plastic ones in blue to finish them off with. I wrapped the electic cord around the center of the tree and into the house railing also, it's not blowing over now, but I looks lousy without the two other bulbs in the right place. Maybe if hubby can light the tree you won't notice in on the one side it's not decorated completely...I put out in front the tin food items...popcorn, min-christmas chocolates, and individual tin encased Chocolate chip cookies.  Guy at the store said, where do you live, I said , this is for the little kids locally...I have always been an nieghborhood house that had an place for the little kids and something to eat..if for any reason they can't get into their own house.. Now that someone stole from us this last summer...the gates are locked..for them to get out of this kind of weather. He showed me he was buying an small can of Ham...and I told him I laready had about 1/2 an case in my emergency supplies. But I didn't tell him that they are unsuitable to be opened by little kids, they can really hurt them they are razor sharp along the edges...so if your going to use them, you best attach an can opener that they can use...or have an adult along. All my stuff I set outside, I do so in tin cannisters so they are well water-proofed from the rain. My house eves shield an small section by the door from rainstorms. So does underneath the two patio tables I pushed together. I also bought an plastic table cloth I'll put out there, or get in an-inexpensive poncho...but I'm not expecting this to be an thing to do...come to shirley's house for free food in the cold and rain...this is for emergencies only...when perhaps they are locked out of their own house temporarily...yes, I've had that already happen also.  The kid stayed home, while his parents went back east on an business trip...he locked himself out of his own house...he was to afraid to call them, for fear they'd fly back and be madder then an hornet...he wonder around until he found the kids over here and we fed him...he was starved to death...this was an younger high school kid. He was downing fresh veggie trays and sandwitches non-stop for quite an while before he stopped eating. We wrapped him an blanket to warm him up also. One of the other kids took him home with him that night to stay overnight as the parents were due home the next day...they were good buddies. Had stayed overnight before with him. One reason why I always have an extra bed in the house also. I have seen "orphaned" kids living permanetly under stairwells... on TV in Russia before. You know how cold it gets there. I still say..laying our differences aside...and being good people..we can help where we can in these kinds of situations. If you keep in good standing with the "Scouts" you can go to any of their camps and stay overnight for nothing. But they only have one real place here in Portland they can do this at.."Scoutters Mountain"...some camps you work off your overnight stay...by helping in the cafateria or bringing in firewood, etc. I can't not think of an mother of any Scouts that would not help one of the kids... if they needed help.... esp the younger ones.Well, just ate my lemon fiber bar with some coffee..next time it's gonna be with spice tea as I think they would go better together and I move on for the day. Have an goodie day as they say!

Good evening James. I did notice whilst going through my ancient address book to check that there was no one in there who isn't now on my phone, the amount of people in there that are no longer with us. My mums book must be worse because she's 85. I have noticed she's not writing her cards too early in the year anymore. She used to write them in October and every year there were a couple that never got posted.

It cost me more to post them James than it did to buy them. We've a lot more hand deliveries than we used to have.
