Morning everyone, a lovely sunny frosty day here Smile

James, I had an SD card once and the plastic lock thingy broke off with it in the lock position, which meant I couldn't delete the pictures. Sounds like this might have happened to yours. Best of luck with it, hopefully the worse case senario is that you'll need a new SD card.

Good evening everyone. It's been a beautiful but very cold day here. Managed a walk this afternoon but not done much of anything else. Busy day ahead tomorrow though.

Glad you enjoyed your "lanch" John Smile

A very small slide on the card was out of position on the side --apparently it is a safety device --just tried it  and completed the task of deleting unwanted pics --thanks Dave for the time.Smile

Thats the lock button which we referred to yesterday, quite easy to nudge accidentally. Really should be much stiffer to move. It does nothing to the card, but makes a connection inside the camera. It is similar to the pop out tab you used to break on VHS tapes to stop over recording. Glad you have sussed it and always happy to help if possible
