Dont' feel bad wolf, we got plenty of houses up my street that won't sell either right now, people to jumpy over here on the real estate loans. I wish I could by my nieghbor's house, thier grand-daughter got it. Her I didnt' know, the original owners I did know, they were nice people, but she wants an million plus dollars for it, says the property taxes are hard to keep up with on it. I'd make it into an country Bed and Breakfast Inn if I had it. My neighbor nex tto em retired an has already made of her kid's bedrooms into an beauty shop for her private clients. You know people moved out here for the country scenery and the city let in an land developer and guess what he did, now none of us have an country view. Stacked houses like an deck of cards all around us. Our lots had to have an minium of 10.000 square feet in the yard, they let these guys in at 5.000 square feet, same sized housing units also. Just about enough room to walk on each side and enough room out the back to park an table and BBQ on an patio and that's it, I see many of them have forgotten the fencing in hopes to "appear" to have yards. I've been going crazy these last several years in my house, my kids were renting an larger house then mine was, with another friend of their's whom got in an car accident and evenrtually lost his job an couldn't help them, so they moved back in with us, paynig for the last six  months in bills trying to make an go of it all..so we like shoved some almost what was housing for 5,000 square feet into about 2,000 square feet. It's not been easy for us. I wish I could buy the house out behnd us or beside us at times. WE have so far given thrift shops some 22 bags of clothing and taken at least five pickup loads to the dump, and they rented an storage unit for the big ticket items to keep. We are far though from hauling stuff off. to know me is to get sent something these days at times.

Wolf---if your house was over here at your asking price, I'd have my cheque book out before you changed your mind. In our region about 40 miles west of Heathrow, all you'd be looking at here would be 3 bedroom semi-detached homes. Go about 20-30 miles closer to LHR, and I've seen apartments selling for similar.

A friend in Texas awhile back had his lovely home for sale for $137,000 and couldn't find a buyer anywhere. That sort of money will buy you absolutely nothing here.

Hello Everyone. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to make it to POE today but here I am, at least for a short while.Smile

Wolf, I LOVE your house.  I can't believe it has sold yet.  I especially like the kitchen and the bathroom.  Where do you plan on moving once it has finally sold, or have you already discussed that and I just didn't see it? LOL!

Lovely house Wolf.  Can't think why you want to move!  I google-earthed Murramarang Road and all I could see was a lot of trees.
