Thanks, everybody.  I got a new camera for Christmas and I'm getting hooked, especially looking for birds.  I truly admire our bird photographers here - bird shots are incredibly hard to get (at least for me).  I do live in a lovely place, but just because I've been away for a while doesn't mean I haven't been stopping in for my England "fix."  lol  So I guess that's another opportunity for me to say THANK YOU to you, Chris and Sarah, for Pictures of England.

I took my little cheeky chappy Denzil on a couple of walks this weekend, yesterday in the misty rain and then again today in the sun.  Here are the pics I took yesterday.  If the mountains look misty - it's because they were... something we get really excited about in the desert.  Again, you can scroll thu them quickly with the slideshow link in the upper right.

Is Denzil fully grown now, Ruth? What a handsome little devil. I wonder where his name sake has got to.

Love your pictures too. I hope to come down  and  see it for real one day.

I have been away for a while, 1st I had surgery and then the computer! when it rains it pours!  I maybe way behind, but has anyone suggested maybe doing a pitcturesofusa.com, that way you are not clogging up POE?  Then all of our friends from POE can vist there.

Just a thought, and it maybe a late one and I could be rambling on for no reason!

Take care, Donna

Ruth, what a sweetheart Denzil is!  What breed or mix is he?

Hi Donna:  Nice to see you back, and hope you're recovering nicely.  After I found this lovely website, I looked online to see if there's anything even remotely like this site with pictures of the USA, but to no avail.  Any that I found are places to purchase photos.  Even Pictures of Arizona (where I live) is a commercial site.

As for clogging up POE, I really don't think that's an issue.  This thread was started by Jason in the UK, who just thought it would be nice to see other places and Chris and Sarah were OK with it.  But it's only a thread for posting links to PNOE (Pictures Not of England, lol).  It's everyone's choice whether or not to view them.
