Thanks Lyn, thanks Sue. I was amazed when the water rail appeared out of the sedges, I've got another 4 or 5 shots of it. It's the first I've ever seen, maybe the rainy weather flushed it out.

That moorhen was so funny you know, it's actually got both legs the same side of the structure it's sitting on.....it looks like it's riding sidesaddle!

Sitting sidesaddle, even better.

Actually when I enlarged it, I thought I the legs looked rather thick.

Yes, Paul - terrific shot!

Here's one of Ian's from today.  I just love the way there's so much in it, especially the juvenile gulls.  It's from Whitby, one of my favorite places on earth.

You had to be there last Sunday to realise how well Ian caught this rainbow out to sea at Hartlepool---it was only there for a few minutes!!----super shot.
