Here is a super picture posted by Roy Jackson.

Isn't it wonderful! I love the moss growing on the path, I love the bench, even wet, with a long coat on I would still sit on it.

And of course the trees, so autumn, so beautiful.

Roy definitely has an eye for beauty. This picture speaks no words, yet tells so much and allows the viewer to personalize it for themselves in whichever way appeals to them. How much more wonderful can that be! Not a word is spoken, yet so much is felt, said, insinuated and appreciated. Well done, Roy!Smile

OH, I like this one Steph...look at the colour of those leaves moving so slowily on a cool water stream....you can almost feel the sun on your shoulders and a chill in the air!

It's amazing how we can see certain things, such as the maple leaf floating on the water, to associate it with Fall season, and remind us of  the closing of Summer and the entrance to ******  LOL..that was winter!  Just couldn't say it!  . But I do love the photos people have shared with us.

Come on...Summer!  That's MY motto!Laughing

Thanks for picking it Sue and thanks for the lovely comments Sue and Beth and also the other folks who commented on it! It was a simple picture but when I saw the leaves in the water I thought they were beautiful. Thank you again!

Yes, it's a great shot, Stephanie.  Brings back a lot of memories for me.  Those big maple leaves are the ones we used to press between the pages of a book when we were kids.
