Its extremelly rare i colour photos, i just increase the saturation, just increases the colours, but doesn't change them, the colours are as they were in most of my shots. I mean i have done, and its pretty good fun, but can look pretty odd. |

A photo is made up of light and shadow, eyes can interpret allot more variation in light. Photoshop and others like it, even the most basic editors like the one I use is seen as a way of fixing what the camera failed to do, it won’t ever make a bad photo good and people are always going to enhance, like myself, maybe a bit too much for most peoples taste but like photography it‘s trial and error. Jason said it so much better and it’s all getting a bit to technical for a biff like myself so I will just say to Stephen, your Lincoln shots are great, Lincoln is my favourite place to visit, I love the cathedral especially at night when it’s all lit up, now that is a jaw dropping sight though sadly I have only seen it at night from a train and Andy, I think your photos are great also, excellent choice of camera if I may say so |

Yes, it's the first model S5600, worth all of £100 now I should think, but having had Pentax, Canon, Ricoh and the like, I'm more than happy with it. It's a great thing photography, there are so many ways to get a result, no matter what camera you happen to have. Just to make a point, here are two pictures taken in the same location, on the same day (East Park, Hull), one of them being the only photoshop attempt I've uploaded here. Natural or unnatural, I suppose they both say something. Picture by Andy Edwards This is unedited. Picture by Andy Edwards
I know which one I prefer lol!

It's so light I have to check the camera case every time I go out...it weighs barely more when it's in there! Please let me know what the new one's like Lyn, I quite fancy one of those myself (obviously alongside the 5600 of course). A two camera person, I like the sound of that lol. |

I never really thought of myself as a two camera person but now you say it, it does sound good |

I have to book well in advance to get the cheap ticket, so have to take pot luck with the weather.

I do own a polarizing filter but I bought it for a reason that it doesn’t work on, dreaded lens flair when shooting towards the sun, I am slightly embarrassed to admit Jason had to explain to me what a polarizing filter is used for. |
