And people Laura, although you might not want to meet our 'Grouse' James.

There, that should bring him out of his hiding place!

(C'mon out James because we can see you) lol

Ruth, North Yorkshire looks incredible.  Maybe I shall stop there too, no reason I can't do the Lake District and North Yorkshire. Lovely. There is so much to see.  Thanks! I can't wait!  Would you recommend any camping spots? Don't know if you really do camping in England maybe for a night it would be fun.  Hello Gonul and Karen and hello again Ron and Dave!  Aren't you all just so lovely.  :)

You might want to visit C S Lewis' Oxford Laura because I know a man who met him personally!

Ron's right, Laura.  Oxford is a great place to visit too.  As for camping, I wouldn't be able to advise you on that, but there are 2 national parks in N. Yorkshire - Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors.  Maybe you can get info from their official websites.  I think camping would be fun in England.  At least you don't have to worry about fire restrictions.  lol

Hi Sarah! Nice to meet you.

Ron, I am interested in Oxford for C.S. Lewis, thanks! I will go there too! What did your friend say C.S. Lewis was like?   ...I've read that Lewis Carroll based Alice in Wonderland on places and people and he knew when he was at Oxford. Must be an interesting place, so many writers!

Ruth, I just got lost looking at your pictures.  They are great!  I see you are in Arizona. It's true for Southern California, lots of fire restrictions. Camping is less fun with no fire. I guess camping in England you also don't have to worry about rattlesnakes or coyotes either! I think camping in NorthYorkshire or the Lake District (if possible) sounds very magical.  I'm going to look that up.

Now I am going to look more of the pictures that ALL of you have taken.  But I do have to get some work done at the office. Such a great distraction, I've already spent hours looking at all of your great pics!

Ron, I just looked at your pics of Oxford and the C.S. Lewis tour. How cool! I'm going to have to get a pint at the Rabbit Room!

Do you mean C S Lewis or Lewis Carroll, or both Laura?

As for the reference to the man who met C S Lewis.......you are talking to him via the POE forum right now! Yes, I met Jack at the age of 10 years!

Thank you, Laura.

Yes, keep coming around to POE.  For those of us who have to live vicariously, it's the next best thing to being there.  A lot of great people here too.
