Hello, KC, and welcome! I have to agree with you on the charms of Cumbria--absolutely breathtaking! I've stayed on Windemere, the Ullswater and also just north of the Kirkstone Pass. One of my favorite memories is having pony trekked in the rain and mist near Troutbeck--at one point fog made the ride particularly surreal--and pretty dangerous!

KC--You can list your accommodation with POE for a nominal fee by clicking on "List Property" in the green box in the upper left hand corner of the POE webpage. Considering the large volume of visitors to POE, it might prove to be money very well spent!

Thanks, Rob we are in our first full year now and will achieve 90% occupancy so don't advertise an awful lot but I'll definitely give your offering some consideration.  Can I just check... is the £45 fee a one-off fee or an annual one?

Ordinarily I would have quickly edited your posts, especially as you have been sent the welcome email from me as Moderator which explains the circumstances of links etc for commercial businesses.

However, I will leave things as they are for the time being, in view of the fact that you may well be in contact with Chris and Sarah as Rob suggested above, with some advertising to help support this fantastic website and forum.
