Where there's a will there's a way! Amazing what will try to grow on a bit of dry stone wall. None of these differing plants were anywhere near ground level. All living their lives on the stone and whatever they can find within the cracks, which on a lot of walls are just filled with smaller stones. Wateredge Inn Ambleside Holiday makers enjoying a drink in the beer garden of the very aptly named Wateredge Inn. A few years ago the whole of the beer garden was under 3-4 feet of flood water.
