Next, thank you Sue H, Wolf, Lyn and Chris & Sarah for your support. Hoping I haven't left anybody out at this point because I have only just got to the PC, and haven't fully been able to look at everything.

Ron, I apologize for my harsh words. I have a hard time standing by when any one person  of this group is hurt. I love everybody here so much!

Catherine. I am shocked, bewildered and literally devasted at your outburst which if I may respectfully suggest was the kettle boiling over after a very traumatic time for you. We have all tried to encourage you during your difficult time, kept you in our prayers and seen you as a friend indeed. So I think I understand why you write as you do, but ask that you reconsider your opinion of me....as simple as that! I will never hold this against you for one minute, it was your opinion at the time, and therefore the only way that you could unload it was to vent your fury on the PC, aimed at me! I hope we can draw a line under this episode and am sorry that you felt you had to write explaining your financial position. I did put a post in the thread explaining that it should not deter anybody from being part of the family just because they were unable to make a donation. I am sorry if I offended you Catherine and hope all can now be allowed to settle, but as I said in other posts it doesn't mean that POE doesn't need support. You however support POE with your ability to keep in touch, your prayers, your good wishes. So I am thanking you in anticipation of your continued support also Catherine! Regards Ron

I will have to go back in the thread to see that I have not further offended anybody by not including them in my response, but hang on in there friends I am just going to have breakfast, and then I'll be back.

As I said above, I hold no grudges and love everybody here the same including you Ron! Thank you for your continued support towards me and for recognizing the small but meaningful donations I do. The line is drawn and thanks for your understanding.

Ron, I have no doubts whatever about how much you care for POE and for family (feels like saying the f word twice).  Misunderstandings happen, even in the best regulated families.  I'm disappointed that Paul has removed so many of his beautiful pictures from the site.  Their loss diminishes us all.  Can I appeal for cool heads, so we can put this behind us as one of those rows that sometimes erupt in the beat of families.  Good wishes to Chris and Sarah: our debt to them is enormous and unquestionable; to you for your humour, wit and compassion; to all POE members who help to make the site what it is.  I hope Paul can find some way reconsider his position.  He's an important member of the POE Family, and none of us want to lose him/

The time for this to happen was so wrong, and unfortunate coincidence too, for the reason we all know about.

After all was said and done, and apologizes exchanged, the current outcome is that the site has lost over 400 photos of one of its finest photographers.

Paul, I truly hope (and strongly advise indeed !) that you might want to retrace your steps, and that you will keep posting your photos in the future too, as you've done so far; don't let this incident affect your enthusiasm. I, for one, would miss your photography enormously.

Perhaps this thread should be deleted?

It doesn't give potential new members a very good impression.

Mind you, there's something to be said for online communities that don't cover up their little spats.

And even after I have apologized three times I have not been recognized!
