Come on everyone - there is enough misery in the world - this should remain a happy place for as long as Chris & Sarah can keep in going so please all stop taking everyone's words the wrong way. We all want the same thing - there are no sides here - we are all on the same side. Ron didn't mean for anyone to take this personally I am sure.

You are so right Stephanie, so here again is a 'sorry' for any upset that it may have caused (despite it being something that I felt was right) for anybody that I might have inadvertently left out! However, it doesn't alter the facts does it?

Wolf, you make a valid point in your last post, but I do not think the thread should be deleted. It has created an awareness, I've been doing that for C S Lewis for the past six years, so thanks for your comments! In truth aren't you glad that Chris and Sarah are big enough to allow the world to see what goes on in POE? Honesty really is the best policy I think, don't you?

And Paul, c'mon lets hear from you - after all you do play a big part with your pics that we all enjoy. Just sorry it will take a while to upload them again, but think about it and if you want to make contact via the POE form or by telephone, I will happily respond. Regards Ron

The time for this to happen was so wrong, and unfortunate coincidence too, for the reason we all know about.

After all was said and done, and apologizes exchanged, the current outcome is that the site has lost over 400 photos of one of its finest photographers.

Paul, I truly hope (and strongly advise indeed !) that you might want to retrace your steps, and that you will keep posting your photos in the future too, as you've done so far; don't let this incident affect your enthusiasm. I, for one, would miss your photography enormously.

And even after I have apologized three times I have not been recognized!
Catherine, I haven't read word for word again in every thread, but I think it's fair to say that the matter is closed. You said yourself 'a line is drawn under it'. Therefore you have been recognized based on earlier posts. Stop worrying....it's finished!!

I was introduced to POE via Ron Brind whom I met four years ago when I took his C.S. Lewis tour in Oxford.  During the course of the tour it became clear to me that this man was not in it for any monetary gain but for the great love he has for his subject.  Ron was VERY passionate and vociferous about his feelings, his ideas, and his vision for reclaiming the C.S. Lewis legacy and passing it on so that generations after us would not forget this amazing apologist.

I knew then that Ron Brind would be just as passionate about anything he felt strongly about. That is why when I read his comments in this thread, I did not take them personally. I thought, oh boy, that's our Ron! LOL!

Ron Brind is one of the kindest, and most sincere men I know. If he appears a tad too forceful in his approach, put it down to his great big heart which bleeds for everyone in need, but especially his family.

A final word about this thread: For what it's worth I don't think it should be deleted either. That we are "working this out" amongst ourselves is a testimony to the love and respect the members of this forum hold for each other. What family doesn't have its disagreements? In the end, we don't really disagree about the subject, we simply need to express ourselves in less "heated" ways!

Thanks Chris. I did not mean to be hurtful. I apologize to Ron. POE is my family and I would be devastated to lose anybody on the sight or the sight itself. POE has gotten me through some really hard times and you all mean the world to me. I love you all so much that it hurts when things get out of hand. Each one of us is valuable in our own ways. It would not be the same to lose anybody! Sorry to be so emotional and passionate about things!

I also want to add my personal thanks for all that you do. I know it can't be easy to keep the site going. If I had the means I would be sending in donations. Unfortunately my husband has control of the money which I am dependent on. But when I am able I will donate. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me. I really appreciate it. SmileCryEmbarassed

Thanks Catherine, and no worries about anything. We all get a little passionate and emotional at times. We're just glad everything has been sorted out now. Smile
