What kind of movies do you like in general? The last movie I saw was "The Dark Knight". I went with a friend who loves superhero movies, which generally I don't like, however, may I say that young Heath Ledger made that movie. He was spectacular as the Joker! It makes me want to cry when I think about the loss of such a talented young person. God bless his family. Generally I like human drama movies, like "A Thousand Acres", or "Out of Africa". I also like comedies, and some romantic fiction. Political thrillers intrigue me as well. |

The last film I watched was Transformers with my boys and was surprised to stay awake and I enjoyed it. My favourite movies are Fried Green Tomatoes at Whistle Stop Cafe, Made in Heaven, Peggy Sue got Married and Four Weddings and a Funeral. |

I've watched "Out of Africa" twenty or more times and everytime I watch the scene where Karen Blixen is standing over Denys' grave, clutching the dirt from his grave to her breast, I break down and boo hoo! |

I didn't like it overly much, it was way too long, and they dragged the whole Jonny Depp solo part out until it got boring. Of course young Orlando Bloom made it bearable to watch, he is a very handsome chap and even better wet, which was how he appeared in most of the movie. So not a complete loss. The last movie I really enjoyed was Return of the King and the first Pirates movie. My husband on the other hand really loves to go to the movies, and loved Mama Mia which he went to see on his own. He also went to see the new Mummy movie with one of our boys, but wasn't overly keen on it. |

I like Fried Green Tomatoes for the mix of humour and sadness. I live it when Kathy Bates drives into the bimbo's car and says "I'm older and I've got more insurance!"
