Peter, Jacobs Ladder was very intense. It was one of those movies that left you thinking about it for the rest of the night.

Lyn, I loved The Others and have also seen it numerous times.  I thought the movie itself was very well done and I happen to be a huge fan of Nicole Kidman. Has anyone noticed that many of the truly talented performers are coming out of Australia lately?

Jason, I never saw Ratatouille but it looked cute! I'll have to rent it some weekend.

I mentioned this on another thread but Bringing Out the Dead was a wild movie and I liked it very much. I am not surprised that there was a lot of truth to it. I have a friend who worked many years as an emergency room nurse and the stories she told were unbelievable!  She also dated an ambulance driver and while she was on duty one evening he brought in a young man he and his partner had picked up who, when they arrived at his house, they found him standing at the stove literally “frying” his privates in a frying pan (they were still attached to his body).

I am sure you could horrify us with even worse tales!  Maybe you should start a thread! It would have to be for adults only of course. LOL!

Cant remember the last film I saw, but I did enjoy Jacobs ladder. You are left wondering untill the last 30 seconds of the film. Then the answer hits you like a brick.

Yep a good film Peter. Tim Robbins was great. Two other films with him in which are both well worth seeing are The Shawshank Redemption, and Arlington Road. Both are good films.

And we wouldn't want that.

If you're really curious, then maybe an email or two will satisfy.
