I have seen Band Of Brother Cathy , and loved it . I love WWII history two Krissy . I've been wanting to read Flags of Our Fathers and Band Of Brothers for some time now . I'm looking forward to reading Rick Atkinson's An Army At Dawn . Its looks at the North African campaign where the US army was first blooded .

I watched "The Notebook!" What a romantic adventure that was! Highly recommend to everybody! Especially to those who have loved ones with Alzheimers.

Cathy I loved that film.

No I haven't seen that one Krissy - will look out for it. Terry collects films - and film guides! He loves them. I just fall asleep - especially in action films. Don't know why - the action starts and I am snoozing! I used to fall asleep in the cinema (movies) so I stopped going!

Ray, did you ever see Excalibur with Helen Mirren and Nigel Terry? Excellent film.

hi diana,

No, I have not seen that film but it sounds right up my street. I am fascinated with Arthurian Legend and poetry. Have you read 'Morte D'Arthur' by Tennyson?
