I remember receiving a school prize 'Tanglewood Tales' by him which deals with mythology in a way that interests youngsters. This book had a lasting impression on my and I have used it when teaching an ADHD child to get interested in reading. Using this book I was able to increase his reading age from 6 to 9 years, in about 8 months. Edited by: Ray Stear at:19th November 2008 14:43 |

I agree Diana, Excalibur really is an excellent film, with a great cast and great music throughout, particularly the orchard scene, with O fortuna playing as they ride off for the final battle. A really great British film. |

One of my favorites is when Arthur, very ill, surveys the dead landscape and realizes what his actions have cost him and his people. One of those profoundly spiritual moments. |

Yes, a similar moment in 'Camelot' when Arthur, confronted with Lancelot and Guienevere's betrayal of him, is faced with heartbreak and ruin. |

The one God comes to drive out the many gods. The spirits of wood and stream grow silent. It's the way of things. Yes... it's a time for men, and their ways. - Merlin I didn't know how empty was my soul... until it was filled. - Arthur You're not listening... well, your heart is not. Love is deaf as well as blind. That's it. - Merlin Oh, now I can't wait to go home and watch that movie again! LOL!!! |
