There is a good book about Dick Winters...101 Airborne I think!!  Right??

I've seen the book , never read it though . A great book ( and movie so I'm on subject ! Yay ! ) is A Bridge Too Far . Dont know if your familiar with it Krissy but its about Operation Market Garden . It was supposed to be an end run around the German defences and over the Rhine . Needless to say it didnt work . It was a disaster that almost worked thanks to the sacrifice and bravery of the men in the airborne divisions and those that pushed on to relieve them . I used to work with a Polish chap who took part in the operation with the Polish Airborne Brigade . He told some fascinating stories of the times .
