It is Diana, things happen in nature all the time, and our bodys, that you think wow i wouldn't have thought that works like that, or could do that, or you see something and think thats wrong!! but then see the outcome is just so different than you thought it would be!!  and if you'd have been asked your opinion at the time you'd have just got it all completely wrong!!  and its all just because we make judgements without seeing the whole picture, we all do it to some extent, because nobody CAN see the whole picture. Oh i'm confusing myself now!! Laughing

I'm waffling now! Wink

I have a "new age" friend who believes that the girl and the man I spoke about in my last post agreed, before incarnating, to experience this scenario together. Therefore, according to her, the man agreed to be a sexual deviant and a criminal and all of his victims agreed to be his victims because they wanted the lessons this experience would provide for them. I can't say I believe this but it is an interesting theory.

Wow! No wonder I don't believe in reincarnation.

I believe that man has a spirit, he chooses whether to follow evil or good. There are times I thought I could commit suicide, or hurt my children, but I have chosen not to.

For the most part, God does not intervene in peoples bad choices, if he did, a person who would choose evil would receive the same reward as the good person. Does that make sense. For instance, if God had intervened and stopped the person who molested me as a child, then that persons reward would be the same as a good person, because he had not been free to exercise his evil intent.

Am I making sense.

And back to animal verses human. I would definitely choose the human over animal every time, no matter the state (good or evil) of that person.

Again, these are my opinion and thoughts only.

Ahh but thats a relative, and yes thats human instinct for a relative, what if it was the scruffy looking alcoholic, that robs people for a 'living', and say a horse

Would the choice be easier?? would you feel better about it? and if God created everything, why are some things regarded as special and others not quite as important? why do we think humans are the most important??

again, don't want to start a war here, just curious!!Smile

Well said Jason. Thank  you!

Sue, you make perfect sense, and I agree with you. People get all up in arms and say things like, if God could stop this then why doesn't He? My answer to that is, you can't have your cake and eat it too. We want the freedom to live our lives as we choose but we don't want someone else to have that same freedom when we disagree with their choices.

God doesn't intervene because to do so would interfere with the part of us that makes us most god like, the ability to create and to choose what we want to create, be that evil or good.  I think, as Jason has said, that there is a bigger picture and we just have to deal with it until God decides to show it to us!

You express yourself so eloquently Diana, something I am not able to do, therefore I try not to respond to these kind of posts. Because of my inability to express myself thus, I tend to come across as being bullish, like I said earlier, my way or the highway, and that is not what I want.

So I thank you Diana for your talent with words.

I believe all animals have a soul. You can see it in there eyes. There are many people who have had near death experiences and have witnessed that they live beyond the grave! I have a testimony that they live beyond the grave. I don't know how their can be a choice most times to choose between an animal or a human. You just do the best that you can to avoid hurting anyone. Sometimes it does not work out the way you want but if you did your best to avoid hurting anything then it is not your fault.

And yes Sue, you are very harsh at times.

I have never intended to hurt anybody or cause any friction on this forum either. And I never will.  I've just wanted to be friends with everybody.
