Some people love birds and bird watching, some love dogs, others horses, while some have a fascination for the amphibians of this world, and others, like my sister, have an obsession with whales and dolphins. So, what animals/creatures are you attracted to and what do you think draws us to the animals we love? |

I like cats - I used to look after my neighbours cats but I don't like them chasing the birds although I know it's nature. For most of my life I have lived with people with animal allergies (my sister and now Terry) so the only pets I have ever had are pet budgies. We haven't got any pets at the moment. |

My grandfather trained and raced horses in Ireland and when he came to the US his daughters were taught to ride too. My aunt is a professional equestrian. She's been riding all her life and I spent the majority of my childhood at her stable. I dream about riding. I have been in a long time and I miss it SO SO SO much. |

I guess my fascination with birds started because I lived out in the countryside, and we had loads of birds to be fascinated by. When I was 21, and just returned from an 18 month mission for my church in Canada, I bought my first pair of binoculars and since that time have been hooked .
