Sorry to hear that Sue. Are your VT's coming to see you?

No, one of my VT's is inactive and the other one has been out of town for many months taking care of grandchildren. I have been getting meals this last week though, but everybody is too busy to want to visit.

I had a three day weekend, and it was so boring. School's going okay, nothing interesting to say about it really.

Just finished midterms, so we got a day off.

It is so windy, and cold here. I'm about to go out to return a battery charger that isn't working.

Where in Canada are you James/ (Please don't answer if this makes you uncomfortable)

I probably have read it in your introduction thread, but can't remember.

I lived in Ontario many years ago.

I live in Ontario. :)

Got to find a sweater, and jacket to wear outside. It's gonna be so cold out. :(

Well in that case I can appreciate your weather. It was in Toronto, Downsview, the first time I ever experinced freezing rain. Wow! And the heat and humidity, and the cold winters. Yep, I remember Ontario.

I am so sorry to hear that Sue. Wish I could be there to visit with you and play a game or something. Even wait on you! I would love to help out! There has not been much contact from church for me either. Sure hope things look up soon.

Well It's certainly made me look at how I treat my own compassionate service. I will definitely take the time to visit when next I am called on to serve. Sometimes it's more than a meal people want.

I know what you mean. People need to be recognized and cared for. They need to be reassured that they are worthwhile. So by spending the time with them, sometimes just listening can really lifts some ones spirits!

Oh and by the way, I would love to play games with you. Our family (husbands family here in town) are big game players, and we usually have one night a month where we get together to play games.

What are your favourites?

I love any games but Blokus, pictionary, canasta, really anything. Those night are the most fun aren't they?!! I wish I had somebody here to play games with. My dining room table is piled high with junk. With having ADD and then all the stuff that goes on here it is hard to keep clean. Wish I could start over with a spotless house! Do you have a magic wand? LOL Laughing
