60 Minutes new reader, Mike Wallace dies at 93. 

Never paid that much attention to him. Quite an abrassive interview technique, upset allot of the rich and famous with his straight forward questions.  

I was quite shocked that the death of Thomas Kinkade wasn't bigger headlines. His artwork is supposed to be in millions of homes (not mine).  

Legendary guitarist Bert Weedon aged 91 who'd inspired many budding guitarists of the 60's to get his guitar tutorial book to set them on the road to their careers in the music industry.

Time to dust off the old 78's and back to the '50s.

'Disco Queen' Donna Summer has died at the age of 63 years after a battle with cancer.

Such a sad loss of a very talented lady, and somewhat personal to me as Donna wrote a message on a business card to me whilst on the C S Lewis Tour that reads:

'To Ron the C S Lewis Tours man, with love Donna Summer'.

God Bless You Donna.

Robin was a great writer, singer and landlord of a property that I once rented. He will be truly missed. One can only wonder what on earth his poor mother at the age of 92 years must feel having lost 3 of her 4 her sons.

American sci-fi author Ray Bradbury aged 91 in California. Probably best known for his novel Farhenheit 451 , the supposed temperature paper/books ignite. He also wrote for film and TV for shows such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents and The Twilight Zone.  

One  of my favourite short stories was his, The Whole Town's Sleeping, from many years ago.
