A very sad loss indeed cathy. One of the great comedy writers and actors. Remember him very with well as you say with Hattie Jaques and of couse Derek Guyler

James Grout who played Chief Superintendent Strange in the series Inspector Morse died at 84 years old in Wiltshire on June 24, 2012.

It is only fitting, that I, who loves The Man from U.N.C.L.E so very much, should announce the passing of its creator and producer, NORMAN FELTON. 

British born Mr. Felton passed away at the great age of 99.  Now thats not a bad age to live to.

Be happy in your Heaven, Norman! I'll be watching MFU for many years to come (I hope), because of you.

            Jon Lord, aged 71, has passed away today Monday 16th July. He was a keyboard player and composer including "Smoke on the Water" and most remembered for his work with Deep Purple even though he worked with many other bands as well as hids solo work. May the music go on forever.

One of the pioneering women of country music, Kitty Wells, aged 92, in her hometown of Nashville, TN.  RIP Kitty.

I was brought up on Kitty Wells Ruth and have just played the track that you linked to. Call me an old softy if you like, but I can hardly see the keyboard for tears running down my eyes! Such memories, and you know what Ruth I know every word!
