Sir Patrick Moore aged 89. Astronomer and broadcaster and presenter of The Sky at Night for 50 years, which is a record for someone presenting the same TV programme, as well as getting countless people interested in astronomy.

Gerry Anderson aged 83. Creator of TVs Thunderbirds, Joe 90, and other TV shows and films which  were classics in their own time. 

He'd lived at Henley on Thames and with his wife, had set up their film studio on the Slough Trading Estate to film their puppet creations in the 60s.

  Don't forget , he also is remembered for Captain Scarlet and the Mr. Rons.

'Stornin' Norman Schwarzkopf, Jr. has passed away.

He was quite the leader here in the States.

I'm sure he'll be organizing the troups in Heaven with the same ghusto he organized them here. 

Also Jack Klugman. I remember watching Quincy. M.E. with my Mum. We loved it.

Celebrated film director, Michael Winner, aged 77 in Kensington, London. Noted also for his charity work which included the founding of the Police Memorial Fund for honoring police officers killed in the line of duty after WPC Yvonne Fletcher had been shot outside the Lybian Embassy.

Lead singer of the Andover band The Troggs, Reg Presley, aged 71 at his home in Hampshire. The Troggs are perhaps best known for their songs, Wild Thing and Love Is All Around.

Sad to hear of anyone passing way but never heard of this chap was he a member of this crazy  BBC  culture
