We have had it pushed down our throats morning, noon and night, for months. Our airports and road systems have been disaster zones for two years now as they try to prepare for 2010 World Cup. All the schools will be closed for the whole period of the World Cup creating huge problems for working parents. Being the host nation certainly has many draw backs! But as always - let the best team win (and I don't care who that is - although I will have to quietly admit I hope it is England) lol |

In the city nearest to us there are two girls high schools each with boarding students and a boys high school. The one girls school is in the road opposite the stadium and the other actually backs onto the stadium!! As each of the main centres has a similar problem it was decided to close all the schools for the duration of the World Cup. |
