I can't say I thought they did play better - but they won! So congratulations Ted, Fred & Fleursauvage on your team going through to the quarter finals.

They will have to play better now they are going up against Brazil.  Brazil against Chile was a match more worth while watching, except for some crazy passes!!

I have come to the conclusion the players are all slipping because of all the spit all over the field, yuck. Some times the close-ups are not such a good thing!

very true, they all went out there thinking they were going to win it easy.    the whole truth is they were just not good enough and maybe this will bring all of them back to reality and show what kind of rubbish they are .

i feel sorry for all the supporters who have paid all that money to go out there and watch a load of rubbish----there were a lot of players who should hang their heads in shame after that drubbing they shouldnt be allowed to play for england again-----a total embarrassment.                             rant over.

Hi James, glad to see you!

I feel that we haven't been given any really great football from any of the teams so far.  Very lacklustre.  I know there is a difference in altitude and it is probably warmer here than they are used to playing (that does not apply to all teams though), but even so I think it has been disappointing,  and I really hope that the games improve.
