Not that I resent arch rivals Germany knocking us out, its just that out lazy English team didnt even put up a fight!. Capelo says they were tired after a long season. If they cant get there breath back lounging around for a month in an all expenses-paid, 5-star luxery hotel in Africa god help them. Rooney, Gerrard and one or two others should forfiet there last 2 months income to the 'Help for heros' charity which looks after our forces, injured or killed out in afghanistan, they are true heros, not the overpaid fairies that wore the 3 lions badge in africa this last month. As a punishment for their lazy show they should all be sent to Afghanistan for 3 months, then they will see what herosdo fighting for the country. The English supporters who reorganised their lives, scratched and saved for the 6,000 mile trip are also heros, they behaved themselves with no arrests, or trouble and made friends to remember with their african hosts. Top marks Africa for a brilliant show! |

I gave up watching the Paraguay vs Japan game 5 minutes into the second half. When and which teams are going to give us some football worth watching - anyone like to hazard a guess??? |

The Uruguay vs Ghana game was exciting (at least I thought so) even if I think Ghana was robbed of the win - when push came to shove they messed up their penalty kicks, such a shame, still I would like to have seem them win it. |
