So true Ron, there's always someone worse off so we do need to be grateful for what we have. Time for a nap so goodnight all.

I ran across her "Shepard's Pie" receipe couple days ago...where you use the mashed Califlower instead of the mashed potatoes for the topping....for anyone wanting to know how you do this, you par-boil it or steam it for an bit...then mashed it with some cream and butter, like you would mashed portatoes...spoon it on top, sprinkle some cheese and bake it until the cheese melts. Bottom of this had regular diced potaotes, carrots, onions, and beef in an light gravy. She is into low carbohydrate coooking. There's no pastry with this receipe.

I was thinking about Stephanie Jackson. We haven't heard much from her since the move.

Hope Urmi is okay after the quake in India that Shirley was talking about. Not sure exactly where she is but will go find out.

The quake was up north apparently killing 16 with a fair bit of damage.

I've been looking over things on it, it came right on, with the 103 p-wave....from the 7 mag of Japan earlier...India's  P wave is in northern California now...they say the p-wave can be an precusor to the next quake, if the area is ripe for twitching. USGS talks about it in thier web site if you want the sceince behind it all. this had fairly good depth on it at 20 miles also below ground, the lower it is the less damage as surface level....and if in the water....deeper it is the betteralso, it takes an special kind of quake to generate those big waves of water...tusaumi...we just had an day of being in the red again... as to solar activity.

Nice to see you Diana!

Urmi is OK and wasn't affected by the earthquake thankfully, but one of her favourite places to visit was damaged!

It would be nice to hear from Krissy and it's time Cathy put in an appearance again!  Stephanie is busy, busy, busy, and Shaun it is time for you to say hi as well!
