GOOD DAY (29)

Hi everyone.  Well summer has returned in a big way with a flash and bang!  Yes, the summer thunderstorms.  Yesterday was a total wash out with storm after storm, everytime I thought it had gone away - bang, crash - there it was back again.  So little computer time!!

Still busy packing and going between houses and scrubbing and cleaning. I haven't done much today, I think it just all caught up with me today, but I did get the washing done and dry, it had been sitting in the washing machine all day yesterday!!

Well, we just got back, he's offically on Social Security as of Jan 2012 now. I can hardly wait to go fishing...laughs*...  they raised my check about an third more...but then it's going to go again for when I collect Medicare...and after that taxes on the Social Security checks..if I end up with more it won't be much. We figure  to get about the same thing we are making now yearly on his Social Security,..just have to wait it out and see as time goes on. They told me I can make about $1,000 more per month without any penalties. Glad it's over with...he's working on the car the rest of the day. It was over-heating on me yesterday...I know it needs replaced...but I have to  have and save the money to do that. Raining naturally...but I'm gonna make pumpkin pies and zucchinni bread anyway...If I don't go to teh barn and buy some to store up for an couple of months...I think the pumpkin soup sounds good to me right now...and pumpkin stew maybe...go out walking in-between the rain storms. I feel tired today for some reason also...htough ussually after the weekends Monday's I tend to rest more. I was watching pumpkin carving contest on TV last night and from that listened to coast to coast..they said not only was Boston protesting this weekend, so were they at the Brokklyn Bridge..second weekend on that one...mostly over the bankers and their mortgage scams. "Coast"had an show on the Bible and time-travelers in it... that was kind of interesting. Pat Boone opened up the show last night....it was nice to know he and Shirley, his wife are still around. He said he was always geared to be an teacher/preacher...not an performer...but guess what...sometimes we have different takes on life given to us. Hestill sound like an nice guy to know though....I didn't know he'd written so many books. Anyway...here's remembering the song "April Love" by Pat Boone...talk later.
