Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 05:39 on 13th October 2011 Oh, well, my gout may be caused from electro-magnectic pusling again, I picked it last night before "Dancing with the Stars" ever came on. Sorry to see the latesst lady leave, she did an couple of very good shows in dancing...and loved her dresses also. But you know, so sad to say it...but only one can win it and everyone's knocking thier bodies to pieces trying to b e the top person...and for most of them, it simply own't be...maybe she'll enjoy her rest and get on with something esle. AS for the EPA..Enviromental Portection Angency, I thought about calling them out again, but the cable company was here as I was leaving the area to go an sit with the grandkids today. I put in 6 hours of reall "work" there...spent $100 getting there rooms up to par for this winter also. Was glad to be back here tonight as it was thier mother looked good to coming home herself. I spent the day solving an mydrid of their problems. Broken bed slat in sissy's room to the boys having no sheets on thier beds at all. I bought them two new pillows...as thye have "Pancakes" in pillows to sleep with pretty much.My sister is going crazy also with the Govt...whom wants to get her an housekeeper and she don't want one...they are fumagating her apartment..and indeed found some dead bugs there. I told her, cut down in what you have, go put it in storage and it should make them happier and you can keep your stuff. When she moved in I think she said the last person left there was "dirty"...whic is why they moved her out...and they do occasionally to all those on state assistence from time to time. She paid $300 to get her van fixed and it still stops on her going down the road...she's peeved over that one also as this has been going on for years now. She just don't have the funds and it's hard for her to walk in rain and ice as far as she has to go to her appointments. Last year she fell and bummed up her knee, I brought her over here for an couple of days to help her....get her hair washed, and clothing and some food in her. Sometimes I have to depend on hubby to help me when I have health issues also. Yes, I've heard fo figgy pudding Ron....but the last time I did an Chirstmas card with "We wish you an Merry Christmas and an Happy New Year!...it was an Unicef card of all the world's children holding hands in an circle singing this...and on the inside I added "Peace on earth...Goodwill toward men"...Blessings!...The Lawson's Jerry, Shirley, and family....then sent them out tof everyone I knew but that was back when postage prices were not so high. Many people like that card an called me to tell me so. I wish I could say it now...but the protestrs never left Portland sinc ethier march the other night and I hear it's getting "testy" with the police in New York. Theywill make the biggest difference as to haw peaceful this stays.Had some of these people "done" what I asked an logn time ago, and some now are..paericualry the hispanics...this would of never been. These huge apartment complexes should of had an area for an few fruit trees and landscaping that incoroprated veggies they could grow themselves...to help thier low income budgets. Starving people ALWAYS "fight". Thsi is not an "new" idea even, I can remember when everyone as an kid around here grew and shared their surpus with others as being "neighborly". SEcond thing they could of done was let the homeless live in an area of any Park they wanted for "service" help and had the churches open up thier doors to provide them with shelter and food and heat...what they spend to help others is generally tax deductible...and there's more chance of an church beign around there there is of an "warming center" particularly in small towns. The volunteers ladies could help with making blankets to give them and serving them the food perhaps. Teh drunks simply need to go to nursing homes or jail to sobber up. Where this goes wrong is them being made to feel like an herd of cattle in 50 cots side by side in an meager basement, like an stranger that's poision just because they have lost thier jobs someplace..many still want an assemblance of "caring people" to help them, and not an "Institutional setting" of disrespect..... and indifference. "Take an number" scenario. That'ds why they leave to make thier own camps under the brdiges or where ever they can find an place to stay. Since most of them live in an shopping cart, and crimes upon them are high, the city recently allowed them to have free lockable units to put thier stuff in to get teh shopping carts off the sidewalks during the day and to provide them the safety of having something and no thave it stolen from them. Good idea. Feeling like you have ownership of something that's "yours" can do an lot for one's ego to survive. Lastly...on the news this morning...they said the "Tower of Big Ben" was leaning...hope they get the landmark fixed. It's kind of world wide known to me. Reember the song...I do. I go for now..it's been an long day of "werk" as they say and I need the sleep right now. There's another day of it tomarrow. Keep POE "humming" as I go about what needs done for an few days. Talk later on.... |

Hope not. "Coast to Coast" had an loiud and clear Mexican radio show in the background, so I havent' been able to hear it either. I hate that...they can't seem to stay over in thier own borders no matter how you look at it. It's disrespectful and illegal once again with an radio station to do this. Maybe they just don't give an $hit...now that Jerry Brown handed over them ...though illegals....the abilty for and free college education. I expect someday to see Californa join back with Mexico if this keeps up. There's no "American" idealism with them. They want the goodies, but not the price. they get big supporters, from the wealthy, who work them for nothing in their luxury homes...but most "white" Americans can't have that life style. They have families to support...where as these people get free helpall the time...while the rest of us pay for it. They have been having an "Veteran" on TV...with bed bugs crawling over him, in his clothing...they took 9 guys and in some kind of "Operation Bedbug"...moved them out of thier trailer house and went to work cleaning it out and fumigating it and painting and what not else. I hope they wrap thier mattress in thick clear plastic like the Goodwill does and then an nice electric blanket...and get told to turn it up real high and then shut if off about 10 mins to going to bed, to cook the little varmits. The fumigating alone should do wonders. Yuck, it makes me itchy just thinking about it. You'd think he'd take an bath and wash them off himself also. everyday and do something to his clothes also...like iron them on the seams where they might be hiding.... I go for now. |
