I have a lot to catch up and started with the pictures of last month. Cost me hours, but it was time well spent. What a high quality of picts! No new pictures of our vacation of this year. Due to all the costs and time consuming DIY, our trip to England is been postponed to next year. Now I start digging through the forum posts to see what I missed the last months, that will keep me busy for a while.

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 20:44 on 4th October 2011 Well, Ted...share your abilty to improve...I have an 32 year old house needs new flooring, I like Lesilie's approach to life...I really do, if it's an monthly incoming "bill" find an way to get rid of it. You almost have to do that when you retire...but it's just smart thinking otherwise...the money will always be spent... just your have better options on what it can be spent on if it's not going out on "bills" all the time. Our econoics callss tells us the things ro get rid of are the expenses that you can't sell and make an profit on...as they are worthless money going out the door...Lelsie drives an "Yaris"..I was going to look that one up to see what it looks like, but she's getting it equipt to pick up her ham radio station at her house while she's on the road....and dumping her cell phone. She's also dumping her satelitte TV also. going back to rental movies and local tv stations. Are you part of this "tax" on foods with fat in them where you live?..I heard it was Norway that passed this, but your close to them. Not sure if that's good or bad...and hope the tax is nil. I guess you could always grow your own "goats" for cheese maybe. James, you need your hands slapped if your into another's till...for their sales slips....that sweet smile just isn't going to work. They said last night that for every 1,000 ideas, only but an handful are worth millions of dollars in the process of developing....so you have about 900 slips that are no good possibly. Keep trying though...that's half the fun of ideas. Long day yesterday...not rinign today, little sunshine but suppose to turn here pretty soon fo ran couple of days. Sometimes we can't even beleive the weather reports any more either...and you wanna really look over the date of the radar screen they are showing you also. I think I go...hope hubby got the car fixed yesterday...he took it to work today with him. I broke an blood blister in my mouth last night..makes the second time...it seems to flare up with my finger with the solar flares....and I heard they took SOHO off the screen when the comet smashed into the sun, it was quite spectacular...expect an double x-ray flare from it, bu tdon't if headed here or not. I must of been tense enough for be gritting my teeth maybe...Michelle use to do that...probably still does...wonder if anyone got an "Dr.'s night guard" for her. I woke up this morning an my jaw snapped and cracked like it was out of alignement and was straightening itself up also...tha tmight of helped some. Blood blisters are ussualky caused by poor fitting dentures...but don't have dentures. I go for now. (Holloween suggestion:...before dark falls and trick or treating commences...keep the kids busy with bobbing for apples, games like "Red Rover", three legged races, and cake donut eating from an string contests)..."Trash mix with worms"...makes 16 cups, can be placed in cellophanes bags to give away to guests on Holloween.....15 oz. Pkg candy corn, 15 oz pkg pretzel nuggets, 12 oz. pkg caramel popcorn with peanuts, 15 ozs banana chips, 15 ozs pkg of candy-coated chocolate pieces (like m and m's)...14 ozs. dried mango, 15 ozs. dried pineapple, 10 oz pkg. toffee pretels, 6 ozs. dried sweetened cranberries and 6 ozs. gummy worms. |
