My kids went out tonight....my son got back,..fed the kids pizzas and cinnamon rolls just before we all took off, with one grandson with us. She's dressed as "Alice in Wonderland"...I told to stay our the Queens rose garden....you kno whow she is. Grandpa took the boys to see "Puss and Boots" the new animated movie that an spin off of "Shriek" They seemed to like it..said it was funny. He just had some hot chocolate/popcorn and jumped in bed in his room to watch the TV set. Stopped raining for an bit of sunshine today to give away supposedly our first snowstorm over the Cascade Mountains tomarrow. It's Holloween...you'd think you'd be drinking "Bloddy Mary's" if you were drinking anything. In my book I'm reading I don' t think we could drink the table out from under these Russians in it...with their vodka. Makes you wonder how they know what they are doing. Here:...Transylvania Hot Toddie... Combine 4 cups of water, 3 cups lemon juice, 2 cups sugar, 1/4 cup of honey, cover it and cook it on low for 3 hours...yes, go ahead and use your slow cooker if you want...whisk it well before serving and add one shot of dark rum and garnish with cinnamon sticks. Makes 9 cups.If you don't drink leave the run out and add Imitation Rum flavoring instead...just an wee bit. Don't forget your crunchy "Batwings"receipe I gave you an couple of weeks ago. I made everyone while they were dressing to go partying... chicken garlic pizza, holloween faced cheese and pepperoni pizza, popcorn, cinnamon rolls and some sprite soda pop for the kids. have an good weekend as the festiviies are just starting...drive safely also. |
