Couldn't sleep very well last night so I sat up reading what must of been an comedy club act on reddit.com...they even threw in this little goodie...take an deck of cards and pick someone out and bring them up next to you and announce boldly YOUR going to tell everyone what this guy's "top card" is..then you shuffle the cards...let him shuffle the cards, you cut them in half, let him cut them in half...then shuffle again, you first.... him last....now turn the cards up in his plams so everyone can see them... pick up the top card...read it....and  give an big "smile".

(give them time to figure out the "punch line" on it all...and if you want toss the cards out into the crowd and walk away laughing)

My hubby just came an told me he was going to "Round Table" tonight..because he's got to pick up an few things...as our grandson has earned another patch and reward...but don't  let him know about it. He won't get it until next Monday night. After babysitting today I'm ready to relax tonight.

Been an busy day here,,,we bark dusted the yard and gave my grandkids that helped... each $10 for helping us. Mowed yard, now if we can get it fertilized before the next incoming rain and edged...I think it will be fairly well decent looking for this summer. Nice day today also...makes it easier to work. Kind of getting sore though from the Spring work out....easily resolved with an soak in the tub.Have an good weekend!...someone changed my type to itsety bitsey letters again.

I'm back to normal type again...hubby showed me how to correct it last night..the easy way.

I stayed up last night watching the weather back in the mid-west...tornadoes ripped through all the places where my parents relatives live/cousins...and even "flash flooding" in Missouri where hubby's side lives...really wild night. I see no injuries in either places so far, but two tornadoes touched down pretty close to where one cousin lives in Kearny, Nebraska...it went along 14 miles beside I-80 freeway tearing up an pipeline...and the second one near it went through an long railroad train.taking out railroad cars...it had already stopped... realizing they couldn't out run the tornado in time. So they are still accessing the damages. Now all this moves closer into the area my hubby's kin lives in for today's weather. Deep red bands of weather from north to south again today and then maybe it's over. They can pick up the pieces and hope they took out "crop" insurance for this year.  I sat on the phone with my dad's sister (aunt) when she said...well there's goes $20,000 in an "strip" of corn stalks from the hailstorm hitting it..Shirley...but we made enough money last year, it's insured against crop failure this year....so we at least can say we broke even for planting it.

I guess I better get going for today...my cat is staring at me from outside the window on the roof of our house right now. Hi kitty kitty!Have an good day everyone....

Hard to imagine the trauma and damage here Shirley, although we do see it on the television. Can only send prayers to those affected.

We had a day of sunshine and cool wind, after a hard frost last night. Many more like that and there'll be no fruit on the trees. Suppose I should have put this in the weather thread really, but hey ho!

I had the best time "shopping" yesterday...I came home with 5 new knit blouses for under $30...an pair of white tennis shoes for $6.49 close out, two outfits for my granson's birthday coming up, less then $10 each...went to the grocery store and got " buy one get one free", on cherry tomatoes, 3 lb bag of oranges and packaged  salad lettace mix. I went to look at chase lounges for my back bedroom patio...and ended up buying two $19.99 twin sized air matresses, that would of been $20 not on sale...the chaise lounges were into the $60 range.....May you all have an good day shopping also! Makes one's day to get an good bargain now and then.

You know Ron, when you go back east you real fast see that they put more stock into their families and church, then they do posessions. Maybe that's one reason why...those storms every year ....they know they could lose it all at any time.

I woke up to it raining...and fell back to sleep...woke up again...it's looking better outside right now.  It will be this way most of this week from what I understand. Voodoo donuts made an special donut for the weather guy (Andy) on morning news at Fox 12....looks just like him too! Kind of makes you wanna a laugh an bit.

How you get such good prices for Spirit Mountain Cascino Ron!...that's the best room rates I've seen in years...and they got an host of good entertainment coming up....including that famous Elvis impersonator...among an few of them.  Well, have an good day everyone...I think the house needs picked up an bit from the weekend....so better "get at it'.

In my post above the air matresses would of be $20 more not on sale....the knit tops were half price...the shoes were originally $20, an light summer dress I bought was $28 less on sale....my flip flops.(.sandles)...were 20 per cent off, the oranges alone were $3.69 cents an bag...lettace $1.99, and the cherry tomatoes $3.50 also. In all I saved about $71 from regualr prices yesterday....and didn't suffer for the quality of the items.
