Evening to all POEsters, hope you've had a good day. I've been confined indoors because a strange lady has been knocking at the door all day!

She's loud with an American/English accent "You won't stop me, Im coming in barbed wire or not she shouts!

Wonder who it can be? LOL

Syd...you need an hobby of some kind...that's why I have my genealogy...I can take it up and put it away when I want to...there's always groups to join if you want also.  go out to your  back 40 and build yourself an small casino..I guarantee everyone and their significant will be coming your house on weekends...of their own accord... and they can entertain themselves... if you wanna get some rest that weekend...alone. Help improve the local economy also. Idid that one time at the suggestion of one of my freinds...she said...take the money it would cost you to go see an movie and buy popcorn and and drink...take it to the casino and play the same amount on 5 cent or penny machines.....and see how long you can play for the same amount of money as going to  the movies...so I did...I was there between my wins and loses for about four hours straight. An movie would only use up two hours to see it....but then she introduced me to "the girls"..or older ladies ...about 8 of them...that all sit together and have formed an freindship of "getting away from things"...much like an ladies card game would be...like playing bridge perhaps. My freind said to me...you know what...you don't even have to think to play one of the machines....you can go as slow or as fast as you want also...and who knows..maybe someday you win big also...but the rule of the thumb is to play an given amount set aside for doing so and when it's all spent off...walk away for an another day. get the gals together an dgo get an cup of coffee and talk about what your winning/losing/ family...anything else might be of interest to share with others. Go once an month as something  "speicial" to do. Adhere to the rules you've set for yourself...and have fun. Meet people and then come back ot POE an tell us all about it.  Go on an Saturday evening perhaps. It makes it easier if the cascino was on your own property also.  Most cascino's have an separate place for the little kids if they bring them along also...with arcade games and indoor playgrounds and babysitters.

Hello everyone....raining like cats and dogs out there, but I got moredone on vampin gup sister's abode and took her shopping today also....just walking from my car to her apartment...we were wet up to our knees....what happened to those old time shoe golashes? You know quick on and off type. Came home to take a warm bath to get rid of the body chill.

I'm hearing that BBC has an better genealogy show...over there then it is over here...you people  give more in-depth information from what I'm being told. Grits an I both do geneaolgy work you know...and sometimes the others like to listen in also. They find theinformation interesting also. it is kind of like an mystery game at times leading you to various areas around the globe.

I got to go...this day is wasted now...hubby's due  to come in any time now.. time went fast today. I TAKE the time out to see my "Dancing with the Stars"...they don't have to many weeks left to go. he's getting chilo over an baked potato tonight with cheese and little green chopped onions. So...Ron, don't let "Sue" wear you out to much and will talk later on. Tell her to save the world and open up the first "french" Creme Puff / Pastery delights to drink with our coffee out in front of the cafe in the summer...and make them "flourless" concotions...it can be done these days you know...wiht like an sponge cake using egg whites, and creme puddings and fresh fruit bits.

Shirley, I have a hobby to be sure. Several in fact. I am into photography, computer games and posting on POE.

I also dabble in genralogy and have found a lot of family history.

My late wife's great, great, great grandfather was Lord Lovat, Simon Fraser who was the last person beheaded at the tower of London and my Harling ancestors were the Knights De Herling who helped William the Conqueror beat the Brits in 1066 at Hastings.

It is very interesting indeed.
