Syd the picture (screenshot) would not show in the forum unless it had been approved by POE and of course that hasn't happened. The problems that you and others encounter are not new, although my understanding is that IE9 is now available. Maybe the changeover is affecting your service.

Clearing your internet cache in this case will not help.

I use Firefox, with Microsoft Security Essentials as antivirus (free version) and its never given any problem. I did previously use AVG as CathyML which was also good, but you would think Microsoft would be the tops wouldn't you? It updates on a regular basis and runs in the background whilst you are working so the business I reckon.

I might add that Firefox is also fast, try it and I suspect you won't go elsewhere.

Ron i am using Firefox and have done for about 8 years. It is brilliant. Guess what? I cleared the cache and all browsing history and the pop up has gone.

Strange things happen!

No worries now.

Thanks Ron. BTW did you get my PM?

To quote Ron 'although my understanding is that IE9 is now available.'

IE9 does not run on XP, for those like me who are still with XP. It was created with W7 in mind and not even sure if it works with Vista, not that many people have that.

I run AVG on my PC but have MSE on the laptop and it seems just as good for the same price.....FREEEEEE!!!!!

Hmm, that's odd Ron. I sent a meesage 2 days ago and it popped up in my own inbox. James said that was normal - that it went to recipient and sender.

I guess it didn't get to you. I did as instructed on the site but must have done something wrong. Can you help or would you like me to give you my email address here.

Failing that maybe you could give me a PM and maybe if I reply to it you will get that?

Good morning everyone....I watched  the fellas take off last night for "Scoutcapdes...just watched my nieghors take off for the beach...and now I'm feeling lonely...gesh...I've got to much stuff to do around here for that.....tomarrow...before the eclispe...in the morning they open up the Rose Parade festivities this year with an 14,000 person "Heart and Stroke" walk marathon in downtown Portland with 20 high School Marching bands amid them providing the "rythum" for the walking. All the festivites wind down the second week of June, with the three parades...the Grand Floral particularly...and of course my birthday...I turn 64 this year.  But between now and then....there's the Rose parade Fleet of ships coming in, Rose courts and Garden festivites going on, Chinese Boat Races...Saturday Market, car races, milk carton competitions, the downtown riverside "Carnival" street cafe's opeing up with music and  sport games galore going on(yes, Golf also guys).....and it rains off and on all week long next week...as long as it's decent weather for the week of the Rose parades..there's three of them...Starlight Parade, Jr. Rose Parade, and the Grand Floral Parade. Most of of it is the first two weeks of June. The most famous of the famous "Elvis" impersonators is coming to the cascino at the beach June 29th also...that would be fun to go and see. Anyway...Summer is here I guess you know.

I check in later on...have an good day everyone.
