Good Day "33"

Good morning!....well my kids are having an great time...don't know about hubby and I..we are working hard most the weekend to gett hings cleaned up because everyone else "Plays"...it's th eonly time when our house is REALLY our house you know. My hubby just went to pick up ther dogs so they don't have to stay in their " tin can" home in 90 degree weather... they decided to go elsewhere for the day.

When Troutdale High School went on strike to get more money, I was against them, basically because I know they own as an "co-op" investment team huge apartment complexes they had built many years ago for their "retirement" fund...besides all else they get, Social Security, pension, etc. Well they fired their principal yesterday citing that he spent as part of the student body fund..that they can trace so far anyway...$43,514..most of it he simply kept...but he did rent an boat for an teacher conference party in San Deigo at $1,500 to boost teacher moral. The citizens of Troutdale should be screaming about this, they live in what's considered an "high povery income area"...it is mostly senior citzens and single parents, and low middle income people these days. The spending the money for most of what he says he bought for the school...such as an entry rable for the Arts and Communications Building for $964, at Paul Schaltz Furniture..if he really did and it was not donated by the furniture company... rediculous to say the least...and no doubt even though they fired him..he probably has an nice severeance pay. Another articel this morning says that Oregon is going bankrupt from helping other though "tax breaks" to the tune of 24 billion dollars so far, and it says that they can't dig up the funds for what they need to be spending things on for all the "tax breaks" others have given in the past..and one of them is our current Govenor.  I was amazed that yesterday kids were dying back east being left in locked cars in temperatures of 104 degrees upwards, by themselves...are they really that "stupid" as parents?..or is this an scare attactic to make parents relaize the kids are human beings...not innate objects to be considered with the abilty to help themselves in life...as babies and toddlers. Maybe the parents were smoking pot and drinking and like last week...simply forgot they had any kids to care for. Gesh!

Finally some "rest time" from yardwork... and an bath so I can feel clean again and comfortable. recap...since June and July...36 states have set records of over 100 or plus degrees...St. Louis 10 days straight, Chicago 3 days straight...66 people have died from heat related deaths.... Several babies and toddlers.

Well, I'd post some pretty awesome pictures if I could figure out how to do that..as many have an "share" to the photo. One of them recently was on the left side of the picture an fireworks display going on off, from up in the air looking down over it,,,on the right side of the picture through the clouds, in the distance an bit.... in the sunset.......huge lightening strikes going on at the same time....downward, through an layer of clouds, to the ground... Really awesome picture. Mankind's freworks and "creators" fireworks, in the same picture.

How you doing James?...Someday you might miss my epic postings and stories...when it comes from Kentucky...you know it's  got all kinds of wild information.. They get right down biligerent to each other in whose black african..whose European White and whose Native American....they even made up special records of legacy on them for each other..called something like the "Bastards and mulatto list"...then fight like hell over whose on it... and not on it... and why.Tis true..it's an "dark and bloody" land...with the way some of them think.

I'm enjoying the cool weather before I have to catch up on the grocery shopping today...feels so good and smells so fresh coming through the window this morning.  So I better go for now.

You know what Dave Ramsey says to that question...How are you?he says, "Better then I deserve"...and how are you?....I got the shopping done..picked up my mail... Weight watcher's calls.. only $1 for the registring fee's....I think it's $20 weekly now though.

Where's Ron at?...trying to cope with the jungle out there? Syd did him in when he visted?...he's been de-groused? They broke ground on in Sandy on near the sign saying free ground if you will build an pub here. Wonder if they found someone decided to do it.  Had thunderstorms last night, but not to bad ones. Sure cooled off the area for today.

Will pick up my sister around noon tomarrow and bring her over for the night. Get her out of her house for an change. Not much going on, always work to do, but need the rest also sometimes. We were both awake for some reason last night around 3 to 4 am. From the sounds of things we must of been passing each other by an few seconds and not knowing it. I probably would of "screamed" had he touched me in the dark.  Or else went into my religion... with an  "OH ..Jesus" .....breathing heavily....if it proves to be someone that I disapprove of...I add to it..... "hell-a--loo- to- ya" ...for good measure....then scream.  Makes for an exciting "night life" around here.... Just kidding. Time to turn in...just as soon as I give my fur ball some lovins.... It's hard to beleive he was just an little kitty at one time. Have an good evening James.... Where's Cathyml at?...getting more teeth pulled?

Yeah, I agree with James, Shirley. I do go back and read them (the posts) through but often a day or so later, such is the list of things to do to keep POE going.

I am also working on another website (for me, and nothing like POE) that will become apparent soon.

The grandchildrens 'Sports Day' today, lets hope it stays dry long enough to complete it.

Don't tell anybody Peggy...lol.
