I have thought of you over the last few months, especially when watching the news about the fires. How close have they been to your home? We're doing pretty good for fires here in NV, but the temps are up in the 100's now. I bet you're glad to be out of AZ, with temps forecast 115 today. WOW! Be sure and let us know what you're up to. And no leaving it this long again, OK! |

So good to see you as well,we left AZ in jan, went thru the monument fire in southern az,(hereford, where we lived) was evacuated from our home for 9 of the worst days of my life, our neighborhood was spared, yet ,just down the road many homes were lost. Here in Colorado, since the fires began in march,it has become the worst fire in CO history with almost 600 homes turned into ashes.."Oh for a rainy day in Holland park" See you later !! xo |

Maybe he could turn over on his back and up pops an boquet of small flowers in his hand. Hi Rick...yes, those homes going up...wonder if the insurance companies will help them... 100 per cent also. There are days when you ask yourself if it's not easier to live slightly underground these days. But then again, maybe an two story home is what's needed to recoup financially...rent out what's above ground and live underground. If each floor above ground is an three bedroom and two bath unit...maybe each floor $1200 monthly? Hard telling whatto do sometimes isn't it. What happened to James....I thought I saw him an coupel pages back. Also Syd...wonder if he's sold his house...not sure if he should be doing this so soon in ways. Well, my sister is over here, so guess I better go, I think my grandaughter is here also...so talk later on. |

Not the grandaughter, the grandson is staying tonight instead... we talked about him moving some small tree limb chunks tomarrow for $10. I asked him how summer vacation was going...he said...kind of slow in ways Grandma..kind of slow. Maybe we can do something with the kids before summer is over and they have to go back to school. I watched the Queen earlier tonight receive the Olympic torch...and what's this wild rumor of possible "Aleins" showing up this year at the Olympics...I don't know why they would be interested in doing that. You must admit though...they have an " fantasic" seat for watching them. I don't know whom started this rumor but it's flying around like crazy over here...... Finally.... Disclosure...that they are real and not imagined...but maybe they don't want it quite yet themselves also.I guess time will tell perhaps. If they should.. hope the Queen doesn't have the rain gutters to replace on her castle...as her castle is huge, and from my point of view, it's pretty costly as it is at my small house. So sister in one bedroom, grandson in another...and it's an long sounding day tomarrow...so better turn in myself...and no doubt your all just getting up for "breakfast on the patio"..heh? Have an good one. |
