True Cathy. Perhaps they reacted as did the police at Sharpville all thos e years ago. Seeing an angry mob bearing down on you is enough to make otherwise good men panic and pull triggers. Such a shame though, our country doesn't need this sort of thing.

Good Day everyone...sorry to hear about Africa's road system there are some all over the world that are hard to manuver on...I once saw our military using steel planks that they could move and were also used as floating bridges in some areas of the world under water or the bridges were out...again...our ancestors taught us to plant tall trees along those creeks, where all they had to do was fell a couple of them and tie them together and add an dirt packed top for traveling over between the center crack. even if you can't drive over them you can ussually walk over them....from one side of the creek over to the other side of it. We have so much traffic over here now that they are out working to keep the highways drivable every year now, which means many other places now get neglected. I think if they can build them higher with good drainage off to the side...they aren't having to repair them as much. The water can't sit in the road either and freeze in winter helping to cause "pot holes" to begin with

Also one guy came up with an solar paneled highway to drive electric cars off  up north in North Dakota or in that area...it charges the cars up as they go down the road, and he was wanting to expand one lane of it on the national highways for the future. Then possibly in communites to help out the housing needs for electricity. When you think of the long expanse of roads across places like Wyoming, it sounds like an good idea.

I was out buying school necessities for the kids this morning...mostly socks and shorts(Boxer) and T-shirts for the boys...one outfit each also, even on sale made over $100...so it's going to have to be taking care of their clothes until we elders can come up with more money to help them out. I bought my grandaughter an skirt, top, knit hoody vest and leggins. Boys got pants and shirt each also. One can wear the others clothes now, and sissy can wear her mother's clothes now also. Not that I didn't buy them bigger clothes last year expecting this to happen....but they will have to wait until Christmas comes about..or dad an mom get the time and money to help them some with particular needs.

Day went fast today..writing pantry needs also...but now I see hubby is home...so it must be about dinner time and I've got to go....Have an good evening. (note:...this morning on BBC over here we toured Hever Castle and looked at various old artifacts...some things really caught me eye...like this squared off steamer trunk..open up the front and another box inside that slide out...with an bottom dawer and two smaller ones above it...and it set neatly on the bottom unit and looked like an dresser drawers in all. They also showed hair brooches, and ring,  an huge model ship that came apart, hand painted tiles, vases, and figurines, an assortment of articles)

James...tomarrow I go in  for my tooth extraction...and am I ever having an hard time...as to finding the doctor's reports I was given, much the same as Florence handing me family legacy information. It just kind of disappears for some reason....since neice "Mary" went to the dentist and came back keeled over dead...I don't know quite what to expect tomarrow. Not because of the dentist...but because of all the controdictory medical advice going on between the Cardiologist and myself. I do not knwo if he's trying to help me or hurt me. Will try report back in here after the appointment if possible..but if you never hear from me again...the recrods that Florence Larkins gave me from personal letter by th researchers,

our Sarah Ann Davis birth was near John Davis of Pittsylvania Co., and she and older sister or mother Elizabeth were listed in his household. These researchers went by the date of the tombstone, which is now destroyed. Jeremiah Larkins married secondly Keturah Haily...whom out lived him. I think Ketura was possibly an daughterof Samuel Haily taken Indian Captive by the Cherokee. If not possibly Richard handley/Bandy...in Kentucky. Thier descendent Rosalie Pleis and Chartlotte Hartley have made up another legacy...for me itdoes not matter, because I have no daughter. It is the mother's leagacy in the Native Americans that carry the line onward. Even though most of them are considered "whores" because of rampant fertility rights. Someone is out there to discrace anything other then what I read from Rosalie Pleis. Anyone following our orignal family can not to do that without the worse of the worse going to them in doing so. They say that this John Davis was an slave whipping "master" to his negros...I've never seen that, it was said by someone else. I know he owned an mill on his property, but nothing shows me that he was even an "slave master" beyond owning the ground. I have followed these people for an long long time...this John Davis Ifeel is the Rev. Samuel Davis son in the REv. Records of Augusta Co., Va. His parents were the only son of the REv. Samuel Davis m. Ann Boyd...I would say that Elija Larkin "Darthin" in Rogersville,Tennessee married an sister...he was originally an "Martin" an twin brother to William Martin...I think a son of Col. Ephram Martin that is the same or his son...being called Abraham Martin m. Elizabeth Marshall...kin of Chief Justice John Marshall later on. With those Records out of Faquier Co., Va is one Eliza Ann Keith..father Rev. James Keith...married  "Mr Berry"...I do not know what his first name was...Richard Berry took in Abe Lincoln's lineage Nancy Hanks to raise though. It appears that the Berry family fo rthe most part were Orphans. Eliza Ann Berry marries James Glenn of Augusta Co., Va also. I beleive they were "Tories" perhaps during the Rev. War in North Carolina. Some say they were Native American raised. Eliza Ann Glenn appears with Col. William Blount down there concerning her "captive" Sam'l Hailey. Through John Watts, the Cherokee...he was released. There is another youngerone down there in records in Kentucky that says he was born in Illinois. When I went to Marshall Co., Illinois in person the first person there was Col. John Strawn...and relative of William E. Larkins wife...RAcheal Reed/Read Larkins.Prior to that there was an stockaded "house" of the Davis family...not in their genealogy, bu tin Government maps of the area...that at one time was on an back wall. I beleive why some claim we are kin othe legacy of Pontahantas through her younger sister "Nickkie". They were also in the Augusta Co., Va area...and many wen tot Kentucky. They are highly educated and for all assemblences look like an grand  European lady of the time...wearing the huge ball gowns of that era, hair up and with brooches in them. That is evident by Joel Cabel's  daughter's marriage into the Larkins family later on...Dr. William Cabel owned huge acreages in Augusta Co., Va area. There is an JOhn Strain, I think for Strawn...in Tenneessee I've been researching as I did the Ronald Reagan family in the same area.Col. John Strawn was an accompliance of Nathaniel Ramsey...who worked for the Government in buying up old land deeds not claimed and re-selling them again. Ramsey's are another line of Lawson possibly in this also. I read recently that the "Indians" were absoutely terrified of him...he was apparently raised by them also... or the Ramsey family....henceforth our "other" Nathaniel Lawson we can't find. He was though with his money generous enough to try to help establish towns and given them the necessity they needed to grow.It is said that Col. John Strawn's military was under him in doing this, so by the time he started laying out land grants in Marshall Co. Illinois he was most likely quite wealthy. My ancestor is said to been an James Larkins...and I think his father was an William Larkin I have records with in John Lawson and an Thomas Lawson buying up land grants for General Geo. Washington to build his frontier forts from Pennsylvania down into North Carolina. AS to our James Larkins...whom I have not been as yet to identify completely...I think his first wife may of been an Mary McAdoo...and his brother John Larkin m. her sister....daughters of the REv. Samuel McAdoo that started the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Tennesee and thier "college" in Kentucky. I think his brother Thomas Larkin married Elizabeth Martin...is one of the "three Bishops" of Methodism...and has an descendent named Thomas W. Larkin near Somerset Co, Pa...one of those three...the Shaw Family married and lived in Augusta Co., Va also.  It is quite hard to tell which ones were really Martin...which ones were Larkin...and which ones were "Lucans". This William Larkin may well been the one our "Paul" said was an Justice of the Bar in England also. I have one of two named the same in New England that got thier father's inheirtance from his death and was helped...they were from Reading, England. It is very evident they were all over with George Lawson and George Washington in travales though...and most likley were Masonic Lodge members from way back when. Some of them..many of them were also later on disowned "Quakers" here in the states. Teh QuakersWere well like dby most Native Americans...and that starts with the Delaware indians...they made into "converts"....before the fighting was over though many of them were with the Shawnee and Cherokee.... See "Peyton's history of Augusta Co., Va. I tell you this because I don't buy into what Rosalie has for our family lines as to the Davis family. Florence would of never given me that letter if she didn't  think I needed to protect them.  How could they have been Primitive Baptist...when the church was literally unheard of at the time...even the regular Bapitst split off of this sect after not to long. Reed/Read family were  known Quakers...if they joined this church it was because they had no other to go to being in the frontier areas. They are basing the relationship to an Thomas Davis by way of the Reverand James B. Chenoweth's marriage secondly to Elizabeth Davis as an widow of Thomas Davis. I beleive she was the daughter of Eliza Ann DAvis Glen whom married Joshua Davis the oldest son of Rev. Samuel Davis...after he was killed...so far I know he made it to New York...in the military there and then I lose him.Eliza Ann (Berry) Davis-Glenn filed an REv. War Pension off Joshua also....when her son says he was killed at King's Mountain in the war. If she were not kin, why would she be there in Illinois? The Larkins are said to marry into the Glenn family there also...cousins or another daughter of hers? I go for now...keep this though...at all costs.  Give it to Paul Hilton if need be...but someone that wants closer to the truth of the matter. I have also not left out possible others also....but all these people mentioned tie into the same dates and same areas...same kinships near by.

Peggy, two years of typing, one business class you could not take unless you had above an B in both bookeeping and typing..that one was called office machines...which of course now would be obsolete because of the computer....plus one Better Business Class out at college....and supervisors class and one in psychology. But my "tag along" hubby has turned the table on me as far as being office personnel these days. He's yet working...but will be getting his knee replacement by next month set up also...so won't have an vacation this year most likely either...year four...no vacation.

The dentist refused to work on me today. I told you as an oral surgeon he is not your regular dentist...he did something to me today no other dentist office could...because he is equipted to do it there in his office....he took my blood pressure..and we questioned the possiblity of having diabetes...so he took an glucouse test there...it came up high on both...he said he would not work on me until I went to get the diabetes straighted out and an glucose test of less then 200. He gave me an small prescription for pain pills and for an antibiotic..that is resistence free from taking anti-biotics with other likewise drugs to kill bacteria and told me not to take them unless I felt the tooth infection might be coming back...so...I just made an appointment for next week to an gal the local hospital said is new to the area and is accepting patients. We will see what happens. I am here because I have an doctor that cares... maybe. In the meantime his office looks like an invasion of Catholics...two whole shopping centers are gone, and one nursing home....now an Providence owned one also.  Are they any better then the the Muslims? Of course they deal with an lot of children...and abuse of children...and sex...which they claim they hope to get cleaned up in society. But with the Good Earth Monessori School near by...it figures. I at one time talked to the "Mother" running the school many years ago. Though it's not got an church there on the premises, unless it's an small one. Anyway, most the shops in the area that I always knew of are gone now. They need to sit down and think of things not related to being sick/old for businesses in the area....they might find out they stay around longer as the local people use them. I did find out that my health insurance is in cohoots with all the "Urgent care" centers and the " Zoom Zone" Care centers. That's probably why they told me to either an an regualr docotor for the heart problem and go to them for small problem stuff...because otherwise you'll have an docotor that "specializes". Fees at these clincs are about the same as an primary doctor also. If I have diabetes...then you could say my cardilogist has been little help to me past pushing pills also in teh last three years. There's an new disease out there...it's called social alcoholism..hubby's family has it badly in my estimation.

I have come upon the idea going over all this medical stuff this morning that the field isn't as good as it use to be...these clinics all over the place are manned by one RN for the most part running them...when they need one really good all around experinced liscensed doctor..at least there for back up....which is probably why I crab about the Medical Society these days...plus the don't have the machines where they need them at times....to keep it all low cost.  My daughter in-law should just about equal most of the people in them here pretty soon. It was...at one time... you judged people not by thier religion but by their education...how well they did thier job and how expereinced they were in thier job....now it's gone into mega-monapoly perhaps.  I will find out shortey if this clinic I chose is headed by an licensed docotor or not...she says she's an Family Practioner. I hope her only problem is just graduating from medical school. I know she's one of them on call at the local hospital in town...they have referred me before to her as an primary doctor. Sooo...if they won't see me until my testing is better...I have lots of work to do coming up for myself.

But Ron...I'm still alive...at least for today.

Yes, James I've been up most the night for the past three days....Today is pretty well "shot" time wise. Didn't get my book read any further for being up half the night. Can't find my journal for my latest diet to try to pick it up again either. Just an lot of clearning things out and starting over again I guess. someone todl me one

time on our family legacy...that the "s" was adopted on the end of the name to separate the Scot/Irish from the English. WE have records with it spelled both ways. Keith's were "Scotch".."Lucus" were English that went to Ireland, Glenn's were Scots also....Reeds/Reads were Quaker/English...Larkin were English. I am not sure how many of them were Native Americans also, or raised as captives by them. Martins are English/French. Rogers are Scotch/English. Washington's are English with ties to the masonic lodge which came out of France..from the Middle-east. The Pleis family are from "the netherlands area" up north from what I picked up on them...and went to England before immigrating...also spelled Pease in some legacy....for commoner to the area. Possibly Viking earlier. William the Conquor was an Viking.. went to France and worked his way into Britain....Conquoring.  The original Larkin name could be from many aspects....from the Lark river...or from the Lucans family in Ireland(O'larcan)....or from the days of King Authur as one of his knights Loghrain(sp)...or Gwain..hard telling. I think I found an kind of an tie with the " suza" area of the middle-east as an possibly near tribe Isreal at one time also...it's tying in the with area of the "Garden of Eden".  Benjamin's tribe were "rapists" and for that lost Jersualem...they went to "Greece" and "Turkey" afterwards. I guess you know that everyone through the ages have made accomodations to the truth...so it is what ever you want to buy these days.
